Audi: https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gts...lery/all/livery/1204631/1/7287387155789251112

I think I've pretty much settled on the format of having just one picture for each car now, with the abstract background that accentuates the primary colour of the livery. I might still include preview images in future posts, but they'll always be in spoilers and only when I think it's necessary due to obscured details. Now, let's get on with the show.

- Nissan GT-R92CP LM Nismo 2015 -

8368252238807728148_0.jpg

This livery was done as a request after the popularity of my previous Porsche 962 Hybrid livery (my first livery to reach over 100 likes and reach the trending tab!). This one is a replica of the 2015 Nissan GT-R LM Nismo that failed to gain any reasonable success in that year's WEC and ultimately retired for the 2016 season. It was built on a flawed concept so it makes sense that the project didn't last long. However it would have been cool to see what the car could have done with full hybrid power on tap.

This Nissan isn't based on a flawed concept, however, and is quite capable around the track. This livery won't make the cornering speeds any higher, but it may just make you look the part instead. Or maybe people will just laugh at you for having a Group C car with an LMP1 livery? Who knows? Download this guy along with my Porsche and take the gamble.

- Audi R18 TDi Ultra Team Audi Sport 2016 -

8367689288922465300_0.jpg

This livery is actually older than my previous couple of liveries but I haven't posted it until now. It's the 2011 R18 which won that year's Le Mans, however Audi decided to pull the car out of the storage shed and give it a new paint job after some massive budget cuts. Now that they're on the same tier as the privateer teams, can they get a decent result against Porsche and Toyota?

I made this using reference images taken from the 2016 R18 in GT Sport, but I added some artistic licence in certain parts of the car. I've done bleeding checks and layer issue checks, so it should be devoid of any shenanigans occurring with the decals. The base was one of the liquid metallic chips, but I can't remember which one it is.

I hope you enjoy these two new (one new, one slightly old) liveries, and hopefully after I press enter there will be a new page in this thread!

This livery is a new one I made for my Ferrari 458 that was inspired by a Ferrari Challenge livery. I changed the colour to blue, added more shapes, re-sponsored the livery and added VLN plates to give it a realistic look. Hopefully it has culminated in a design that looks realistic on the race track in real life as well as Gran Turismo.

The real Ferrari challenge cars run Pirelli tires, so they were swapped for Falken rubber that most Nürburgring-bound cars are seen using. The main sponsor is Navteq, a major provider of electronic maps and GPS services. The car is also littered with smaller sponsors such as Staubli, Piper Cams and Noblex. The Races.Ferrari.com link is also present on the car. I even added the Scuderia Ferrari shields to the sides to fill some empty space.

The car uses Motegi Racing rims like the stock 458 GT3, and Magnetti Marelli is also seen on the car in various locations.

I hope you enjoy this livery and stick around for more coming soon!

A continuation of my fictional 2020+ WEC livery collection.

This livery is a fictional GTE-Pro entry into the 2022 WEC superseason by French motor company Citroën. This car marks their return to Le Mans for the first time since the mid-20th century. They chose the elegant concept GT by Citroën to make their return to the sport. The car shares the same general design as the concept, but is almost entirely different underneath. The car features a race-tuned Ford V8 engine which is tuned to FIA specifications, a good choice for reliability. The car also sees the addition of large aerodynamic parts made of carbon fibre and a small shark-fin running the length of the engine cover. For all intents and purposes, this is a purpose-built racing car.

The car's livery has been painted up in a splotched stripe design in the tri-colours of the French flag. Major sponsors on the car include Total/Elf, Michelin and Chopard. Some minor sponsors include Fabric and Bilstein. The car has DHL WEC number-plates in green that signify this car's entry into the PRO category of GTE.

I hope you enjoy this livery, and please stick around for more to come in the future.

This livery is a continuation of my Madfactory Racing sub-theme. This time it was a request for my previous Huracan livery from the last page to be replicated onto a McLaren F1 GTR. I happily obliged because any excuse to make more of these things is a good one in my book. I know the Super GT decals seem to be a little weird, especially on a GT1 car from the 90's, but I wanted to get the look of the previous Huracan livery down to a T. The inclusion of this car in the Super GT also gives the appearance that these two are part of the same team.

8215213406443046404_0.jpg

For the front, I re-used a decal from the 488 GTE I found on the discover tab to make the hood stripe, I also outlined every black and white spot with green. Every shade from this car is identical to the previous Huracan livery down to the HSV values. I made sure to use the same sponsors, but I actually included the SEGA and Sonic Team decals that were missing from the other livery to represent the developers of Puyo Pop.

For the sides, I used a newly-uploaded decal of Draco that I was itching to throw onto something (I mean look at that pose, uwu so cute). On the other hand, the side panels were a combination of various other F1 GTR liveries which either go into the side recess or under it. Why not both? Call me Liberty Walk, because I also painted the front fender entirely in red to break up the black and white sections.

Top it off with gold wheels... ...and you're golden.

This one is another original livery that I had siting around for a bit that I decided to touch up. It was originally a prototype for some Koloroo decals I still have lying around from last year, but I decided to make this it's own thing. I kept the rainbow elements, but added an appropriate main sponsor in the form of Prismacolor. I added these thin white lines to help break up the large black areas on the livery too, and two large Eibach decals near the engine cover to break up the white area.

The car features custom engine cut and extinguisher decals that are in the style of the thin white lines found around the livery. The car also features custom number plates in the same vein, and the livery is Sport Mode compatible. Also new is the choice of Pirelli tires, which changed the Michelin decals seen on the unreleased version.

I think this is a different-looking livery that balances monochromatic touches with a touch of colour. I enjoy it and I hope you do as well.

This one’s a smaller update, but it’s also a fun one. I needed a livery for the stock silver 650s Gr.4 I had lying around that I never use, so I turned it into a mashup of two iconic McLaren liveries. The MCL34 donates the back half of the livery and the blue accents, while the 650s GT3 donates the front half. The base colour is the simple McLaren Orange real car paint chip that neither car uses. It’s a good base colour for any McLaren though, so it works.

In hindsight, I really should have included this one in the last post. However, I didn't think I was going to be working on the GT3 McLaren just after the Gr.4 model. This one is a bit different though. It started off with the base GT3 design like the Gr.4 livery I have above, maybe there was some similarity planned there, but it just went off on something completely different.

After putting the teal strip around the front splitter, I decided to tweak the livery into something completely different. I did away with the McLaren orange and dark blue accents and did something completely off the wall. I threw on some liquid silver metallic for the base, made the white spaces in the GT3's base livery teal instead of white, and added new sponsors. I decided that still wasn't enough, though.

Cue the geometry. I began throwing on random shapes outside of the GT3's base design in black and added teal interiors to each one. After a long time of trial and error I came out with something I really enjoyed looking at, and still do. I decided to throw on some custom number plates and some cheeky shark mouth decals in the front bumper for a little extra on the playfulness factor. Voila, a new McLaren GT3 livery that surpasses my old ones.

So the story behind this one goes: I was prototyping some designs for the Webasto Ferrari 458 GT3’s 2019 livery, and I had no intention on keeping this one. However, for fun I decided to change the colours around and I ended up developing it into this livery. I think it looks pretty awesome and the decision to keep it was the right one.

Bulletproof Automotive is a Japanese supplier of tuning and automotive parts, while the rest of the car is covered in Bridgestone, Motul, Magnetti Marelli and Alientech sponsorship. I broke from the usual number of 30 just for a change because I use it for almost all of my liveries.

This one comes equipped with engine safety decals, sport compatible number plates, no bleeding issues and driver names. I hope you enjoy!

Does it feel like summer to you? Because it does to me. After a stinking hot day that was made worth it by getting to see the sailboats in the bay, I got inspiration for finally dealing with this blasted Pacific Coast Radio decal. I could never quite decide what to do with it, but after seeing those sails I knew.

65E2FA22-90BE-4AAD-B4D3-3EE9AC3262D7.jpeg

The main sponsor is PCF of course, and there are other minor sponsors littered around the car like Blackberry, Falken and Eibach. The colours are meant to invoke the feeling of a sailboat’s colourful sail. Most of the livery is matte black in order to make those sail-looking panels pop.

I don’t know about you, but I’m glad summer is finally here. Hopefully this summer set of liveries is a good one!

The newest (as of now) livery of my "modern liveries on classic race car series” is the Panasonic Racing Jaguar I-Type’s livery on the classic Le Mans racer, the XJR-9. These two cars have little in common, but the livery has translated over very well.

This particular design is my own blend using the themes of the Formula E car, but it’s mostly based on the Gen 3 I-Type’s press release scheme. The car obviously features Panasonic as the main sponsor with Julian Bär joining from the I-Type surrounded by their trademark deep blue. Tertiary sponsors include Castol, a new one exclusively for this livery, and Recaro.

I hope you enjoy my modern takes on these classic race cars, and stick around for more over the horizon.

- Lister Racing Jaguar F-Type GTE #32 2022 -

Lister returns to the racetrack after nearly two decades in a partnership with Jaguar to run one of their F-Type GTE race cars in the GTE-AM class of the FIA World Endurance Championships. The first car they will enter sports a retro-themed livery that harkens back to the classic Storm V12 Race Car that participated in the FIA GT Championships in the GT1 and GT2 classes.

This livery I made takes cues from the classic Lister Storm Race Car from GT2 to GT6. Unfortunately the car didn’t make the jump to premium, but until it joins the Gr.3 roster we have the livery editor to keep its legacy alive. I like the idea of Lister creating a motorsports arm to create publicity for their modified F-Types. Maybe one day they will resurrect the Storm as a track-only hypercar in a similar vein to the Aston Martin Vulcan.

Well, it’s certainly been a while since I last saw you all in the livery editor section of GTPlanet. Allow me to bestow upon you my first original serious racing design since June as a result.

If you pop open the additional pic spoiler above me you can see the full side detailing of the livery with all the B6 Chrome stripes
underneath the purple matte top layer.

Decal placement was made to be as realistic as possible, if there is such a thing given how much things vary between each design. But that’s something I definitely try to enforce upon myself during the creative process.

So I had a fun night designing this, my GT-R really needed a livery because it didn’t have one, and hopefully I can poop out a few more before the summer ends.

As far as my most recent livery creating endeavour have gone, this has to be the one I’m most proud of. This LiUNA sponsored Mercedes I have created is a completely fictional and original design I came up with from the ground-up. There was no prior design used for reference here.

5B26EE92-8BC6-4ECD-BE0F-E39D7A60750B.jpeg

The primary sponsor as you can tell from the giant title is LiUNA, a labourer’s union from North America, which is the perfect for the series in which it partakes in. The Pirelli Word Challenge was a continental GT and Touring Car championship that took place all across the US and Canada before it bought out by the SRO and turned into another branch of the Blancpain GT Series. The world lost a lot of quirky entries that day.

The car feature numerous series sponsors from the now-defunct series including (of course) Pirelli tires, and the series-mandated sponsor strips in front of the GT-Amateur number plates. The car also features secondary sponsors like M-Spec Performance, an auto parts/repair shop in North America that specializes in German marks.

So, there’s my most recent original creation. I hope you all enjoyed that one and stay tuned for more in the near future.

Mazda has a history of racing in North America and I thought this livery did a good job of providing a retro feel to the car. The gold wire rims inspired by the AMG GT3 from the Daytona 24 Hour race certainly helped with achieving that.

The livery is completely compatible with Sport Mode even though it has custom plates. It’s ready to go, so please enjoy using it!

6206541930542662172_0.jpg

A bit of a shorter update today, but I have just whipped up two Audi R8 liveries in the editor on my spare time. The style I was going for with this one was an Infineon-sponsored livery for the Blancpain GT Series. I went with the older plates rather than the newer plates because the livery this was based on was in use back in 2016 with Audi Sport. It might look familiar as a similar scheme was also being used on the Audi TT Cup and R18 at the same time. I previously did a replica of that Audi R18 on the top of this page too.

The colour schemes on both cars are meant to be a nod to the Audi R8 LMP900 of the early 2000's that also had Infineon sponsorship, that's why one comes in red and the other comes in yellow. Beyond that, this livery should serve as a good template to base other designs in the future off of for requests or leagues should anyone want it for that purpose.

Wow, with that many options for colour choices, it's almost like you could outfit a whole racing team! (wink, wink)

What you're looking at here is a Lamborghini Huracan, the end. Just joking of course! It's actually an original design that I made from scratch using black and white. Add some colours and there you have it. Below you can find a couple different images of all the variations this livery comes in, which are all linked at the top of the post for easy access.

8142509240898028577_23.jpg

7421937696485934113_23.jpg

As you can see from the additional images tab, the livery also comes in two other versions such as: The first one I made but didn't use as the main photo car for some reason, and the "I should have used Ikea for the main sponsor".

The main sponsor is Bestex, they make some pretty springy racing springs for your race cars. Sounds bouncy. The tire sponsor is Michelin (get ready for October physics changes, yay!) and the rims are sourced from BBS. OMP is also a standard Huracan sponsor so I threw that on for good measure in the usual spot. Ranstad can also be found making a rare appearance outside of BMW as a secondary sponsor.

But yeah, jokes aside everything you see before you involved not a single reference image of any kind. I'm always proud of liveries when I can come up with something that I can truly put my name to 100%. This is one of those liveries. I'm glad that people are able to look at it and enjoy it as well. So thank you for supporting my livery creating journey if you view this regularly. I do this stuff for the GT community so that more people may know the ways of the editor and not be stuck using the boring default liveries two years into the game.

So if you're reading this, stop using default liveries.

(I kid, use whatever you'd like. Just know that your favourite flavour of ice cream is probably vanilla then.)

Here’s another original livery that I’ve made for my Group 2 collection. The last one I made for the GT-R ‘16 was the 350Z LM Race Car replica. I attempted to modernize it but realized it would be better if I just went ahead and made a new livery entirely from scratch. The result was this Panasonic GT-R you see in front of you.

I finished the back of this livery before the update dropped this morning so I used the old Michelin logo for inside the rear indentation. I also used red accenting to contrast the blue body and to match the red parts in the front grille. I think those bring the livery together very nicely.

The livery features a few other Japanese companies like Tamiya as minor sponsors to round out the look.

Not much more to be said on this one, please enjoy!

The design of this car is directly inspired from the Nurburgring-bound AMG GT3s of the 2018 ADAC 24 hours race. I specifically used the Bilstein Black Falcon entry as the basis for the design when I was producing it. It’s not a 1:1 perfect replica as there are some personal decisions I have made to change it up a bit for this request.

In the future, this will hopefully make the basis for a template design that can be used to fulfill requests quickly and in an efficient manor, specifically for use in online leagues which require deadlines for entry. I hope to expand upon my templates concept in the near future.

Unfortunately I don't have much free time to post this today so I'll keep it brief. I wanted to make a red/blue scheme for my M3 GT2, and here it is. The main sponsor is Michelin Automobile Club, one of the fictional organizations in the game. I don't think I fleshed out the Le Mans decals as much as I should have, but it is Sport Mode compatible, so the number plates shouldn't be an issue online.

Like most wraparound liveries, it's best viewed from a certain angle, viewing the car directly from the side will give you the best view of the stripes.

Here’s my interpretation of the second-place finishing Ford GT40 Mk.II from the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the hero car of the recent film “Ford v Ferrari”.

I have prepared two versions of the car, the first is the old livery on a GT Gr.3 but still made to appear slightly modern to match the updated Ford, and the second is a full-blown Ford Performance GTE livery from the Pro category.

You have options here, so I hope you pick the one that best suits you and enjoy it!

(P.S., go see Ford v Ferrari if you haven’t already seen it.)

Here's a new livery I created last night that I see as a more refined version of the concept that I tried with the Michegin M3. This Porsche 911 is a Hertz-sponsored car with an alternate Omega Lubricants sponsored version included. I think I'll try to make different pallet swaps of new liveries more often in the future to add a little variety and include some options in each post. (Remember, all of my liveries can be personalized on request if you so desire). Below are some additional images of the two schemes. Both have subtle sponsorship differences.

That's all for today, I was snooping around some local business logos a while ago so that might be my next project coming up soon.

Here’s a throwback livery that recalls the time when the Mazda RX-7 used to compete in IMSA’s GTO class alongside Nissans and other fire-breathing Silhouette machines. However, this livery has a bit of a modern feel to it.

The racing number is a callback to the original livery’s 62, while most minor sponsors re-appear with their modern logos.

Here’s the Peugeot Group B livery transplanted onto their Group 3 car. There’s not much else to say here other than I’ve always quite liked the base RCZ Gr.B’s livery, and I hadn’t don’t anything for the Gr.3 car since the PlayStation livery a while ago.

I think the design works well in a Gr.3 environment given the similarities in bodywork between the two models. A couple changes include some different decals I chose for aesthetic reasons only. Also a relocation of the Michelin and Sparco decals on the side to underneath the Total decal due to a conflict.

Other than that it’s ready to go for Sport Mode, so please enjoy.

Oh God, I'm alive!

*huge gasp of air, *brushes off dirt as he sits up.

Yes viewer, that's right. Your boy has returned to this thread after a couple months of inactivity (and not playing the game at all) with some new wraps! What better way to kickstart activity again than with a new livery for a new car within the new pack? That's right, we return to this thread with a really sweet Aston that has just been gifted to us by daddy Kaz himself. This particular model, the DBR9, is pretty important because it won the 2006 FIA GT Championships' constructors cup.

I was pretty excited to learn this car was coming to Gran Turismo Sport because I've recently been lusting over a DBRS9 mod from Assetto Corsa on the PC which has an incredible-sounding V12 engine. The version here in GT Sport certainly looks the part but of course it shares sounds with the V12 Vantage, which disappointed me a little.

On to the livery itself now. The main sponsor I have chosen for this customer DBR9 chassis is Symantec's Norton brand, a major provider of internet security software. I went with the brand's signature mustard yellow colour in a semi-gloss finish, and added contrasting black stripes with these aggressive "window shutter" style racing stripes jutting out across the body in various locations (totally not stolen from Falken, what are you talking about?). Towards the back of the car, an almost perpendicular black stripe juts out from the rear wheel arch towards the rear window, which helps accent the solid black stripe on the hood.

The car features tires supplied by Firestone, with the red lines on the wheels sharing a colour with other red accent points on the car such as the rear wing supports, mirrors and splitter (it looks quite nice in motion). Finally, the car features a number of minor sponsors such as Liqui-Molly, Kyosho, Loctite, Go-Pro, H&R, Nikon, DMG MORI and more. The car's rim supplier is Enkei.

I hope you enjoyed this new livery that I made, and I hope I didn't give the DBR9 too much of a 'Corvette Racing' vibe here with the yellow, black and red. Well, if you did enjoy it I appreciate the support and I'll see you soon(er) with a new livery.

Finally, I’m unveiling Webasto Racing’s updated look for any 2020 happenings on the GT Sport calendar.

Perhaps the most striking feature of the livery is the complete abandonment of blue from the scheme, instead the livery is dominated by a duality of matte black and a deep matte red. White is also used on the livery to break up the black and red sections and to highlight sponsors.

Through a partnership the team made with Phillip Morris International, Mission Winnow branding now features prominently on the car. Michelin remains as the team’s tire supplier and Castrol replaces Total as the team’s oil source. Raychem and Shionogi join the team in a secondary sponsorship role.

The livery itself does away with the racing stripes of the previous design and replaces them with bold, geometric shapes and fading effects on the hood and roof. Mission Winnow logos have also been incorporated into the livery’s shapes.

I hope you enjoy this updated look to my 458 I use in Sport Mode and lobbies. Please feel free to download it if you enjoyed this.
