Well Mitsu is only going to be running a limited schedule so next year they can come out in force. I assume they will be bringing the EVO VIII to the WRC next season.

Plans are for a Colt (Cyborg if you want, like in GT2) with the EVO's drivetrain, to compete with Peugeot/Ford/whoever will have a small car next year...

That's an early prototype... I think the EVO's days are numbered, with the smaller is better trend that's going on.

Yes, they did have to extend the Peugeot's factory by a bit to make it the legal length...i think they should make two classes...the sedans and the hatchbacks.

lol!
what is it, 2l turbo? hehe weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
fun!

they would have to have the hp bout the same as the others anyhow, so prolly will

Every engine is a 2l turbo 4 cylinder ving :odd

the only real difference in motors is the Subby Flat 4

Maybe the limited rallying is the reason why Francois Delecour has left Mitsubishi this morning by mutual agreement.

Maybe it should read mutual disagreement. Delecour is a fiery character and has already split with co-driver Grataloup this year.

Delecour is traditionally one of those people who is excellent if everything is to his liking. If not, he's off the pace.

Well first of all wouldn't you have to extend the engine bay to put a v8 in? I don't think it's the same thing as a four cylinder ving, because normal Mirages have 2l 4 cylinders...or 1.8s

wtf???
they have a 1.4 or 1.5 I think!

to put a v8 in a mini you have to sit in the back seat cause the engine takes over the front one... i've seen it done :p

Just saw on TV the Mitsubishi Evo 8 at the Rally of Quebec in the Canadian rally series. Doesn't look different or seem to be any faster the the Evo 7. Maybe it time to retire the Evo series all together!

well they are going for the lancer evo next year at least. but after that prolly going for the mirage/colt in an evo form with a 2.0ltr turbo 4wd. should be much more competitive
