Mobile Site Question

I've noticed a lot while I browse on the forums with my phone it has issues loading images and avatars. Is this just me or?

I'm browsing on the mobile site on my laptop just to test this (I know its not quite the same), but I don't get avatars loading at all but images do load. However they load in their full size, not shrunk as they do in full site mode. That may be why it appears they aren't loading properly? I imagine browsing from a phone it'd take a lot longer to load the larger images.

Ahh the mobile app regularly has those issues both on android and iOS.

Are you using the Android app, Blackbird? I think this may be the same bug that's being discussed here. It's a known issue that should be fixed in the Forum Runner platform soon.

The app is a major fail anyway. Tried it once (for 2 mins), left it (very alone) from there on.

Do you have any constructive feedback to offer? Or am I supposed to contemplate your rude comments to figure out ways to improve the app in the future?

I used it just then; and I actually must apologize Jordan. My attitude beforehand was certainly not justifiable. My remaining criticisms on the matter (are) the following: (although these 'criticisms' revolve around my (personal) taste(s))

1. It (the styling/layout) seems a great deal 'out-of-date', and
2. I simply prefer the (flexibility) when browsing achieved through Safari/Net.

To summarise my point, i merely feel negative towards the styling of said app.

I have issues with pictures loading but not avatars. I have more of a problem with it crashing when viewing large galleries though.

I think TB is one of the first to make a clean and harmless joke whenever possible...yes, even that way before either of us were moderators.

Anyhow, same avatar problem here, although it only started to occur after an upgrade to Android 4.0/ICS.
