I know we're going with damage on, I was referencing the fact that Nurburgring at night with a wet track will involve lots of accidents
 
Found this in the official forums:

"Doug just finished the wear rate adjustments on Friday after 3 weeks and about 200 hours of testing. It's a really good change getting them back to appropriate lifetimes. Made tire selection a more important factor in GT3 during testing and will add a nice strategy element for anyone doing long MP races. I suspect is was a code change for CPU performance improvements late in the game that lowered the effective wear rates."

Any word on the Patch in the States? I don't think i saw it start the Download.

@xkubunt in Car Tuning they have an Option to help with Racing in the Rain. Depending if you Race with Traction Control on(I do now). You can set it to a low setting, it'll help with wheel spin a lot. Check it out.

I know the setting, I was just making a joke as wet races tend to have more accidents.

Unfortunately my health took a series and uninspected turn for the worst yesterday. I'm not going to be on project cars for some time. But I will be able to follow the series from my phone. I'm going to miss racing with you guys. But if someone is streaming the races please post link at the time.

Anyone noticed any differences after the patch yet?

My front left tire suddenly started to overheat no matter what when practicing RA.
Haven't happened before and can't recall changing any setups at all since last time I played.

I have no overheating problems before or after the patch on road America

Get well soon! Your health is the most important thing so do what's best for you. I'm sure we will see you in the not too distant future putting in some hot laps!:gtpflag:

@Rexuz, front left takes a pounding, particularly round the last sector or so. The Aston overheats the front left when hot lapping and the rear left does too when the back end starts to let go!

Change your camber and toe settings for the front end. Yes and I would like to add get well soon,your health is the utmost importance. I just lost a good friend 1 week ago,39 years old. Take care of yourself,as I'm drinking a beer.:cheers:

Good chance that it's either going to be raining or heavy clouds on the day of the race anyway, so tyre temperatures shouldn't be an issue.

I'm having similar issues. My car is almost undrivable. I can't push it hard and the car wanders going down straights. Something is very different with the FFB now.
