What's the single most important part to tune on the Aston GT4 on Silverstone?
And please don't say suspension, that's like running around in a maze just looking at all the settings.
I'm so lost when it comes to tuning.
Basically changing the downforce of the wings is all I ever known, but trying to soak up all the info I can get to be better at it. :D

@Rexuz There's isn't any one thing that's going to make you a lot faster. The gt6 mindset of take all the rear wing off, put a lot of front wing on and make everything full soft doesn't work. Everything you change in a tune affects everything else. If you change springs you have to adjust the roll bar then you have to adjust the ride height. Which affects the downforce so now you have to adjust the wing angles. Your camber has also changed from your suspension tweaks so now you have to adjust camber. Your camber has now made your car brake differently so now you need to change brake balance. You may be working the tires harder now also, so you need a tire pressure change. The best advise I can give you is to just move one thing at a time and see what happens. Also never be satisfied with what you have, there's always more time to find.

Jeeez... Thanks for the answer!

My problem is that I don't know what effects what. All I basically do is change the downforce and the tire pressure, which I don't fully understand yet anyway.

I just move a slider in the tuning towards soft or stiff and I find some time but I don't really know what I just changed or what to change next or what goes with it.
As this is my first sim experience my first season will just be to learn all about this. To enter a circuit and know right away what I have to tune.

As it is now I've probably done 200+ laps on Silverstone, moving one slider at a time but barely improved at all. In fact I've started lapping way slower lately. But it's fun tho... :)

They are going to do more quilifiying mid next week so you should be good

It's hard to police track limits currently, so if the game allows the lap then it's good.
 
@STALLIONO I just can't make it till next Wednesday. I wanted to send you a picture of my time trail time but I'm only listed with my Aston Martin gt3 time in the leaderboards! :(
I'm kinda frustrated now as I drove a 12.009 2 weeks ago. If this time isn't any good just put me in last tier anyway. Or is there any chance to proof my time?! Even on the track selecting the gt4 car the 2.03 gt3 time is shown to the upper right of the screen.

I just can not put you in the last Tier. Wouldn't be fair to the others. You don't have 15 mins to qualify.
