That is a good way of picking teams. What I suggested is what I asked you about in the pm. I can make a car list and people who aren't in the pro tier can post which car they'd like. That way people have a better chance of getting a car they want. Teams would still be picked by the pro driver and the pro would still pick the car and livery. The only difference would be the pro guys would have an idea of who also wants to be in the same car as them rather than hoping their teammates want to drive the car the pro has choose. If you don't want me to post the list and ask people what car they want that's fine, I just thought it would help others.

No need to make a Car List. It's up to you about the list. When Teams are formed. The 3 will talk about What Car they want to Drive. Then the Pro Driver will select the car, Race Livery and Team Name.

This is good I like how this is done, but a lil question remains about the liveries.........., how will those be picked by the teams, for not having the same livery for the same car, by a different team. Which team will get first choice at that ?

Yeah I know there are plenty to choose from, but knowing this series already it could happen ...lol

The top pro time and along down the line.
 
I just read page one and way i read it is that top pro gets to pick his teammate first AND his car first . I thought the way you talked about stallion was that last place pro had first pick in car, reverse order. Correct if i'm reading this wrong.

To be honest. Having 1st Csr pick doesn't Matter. You can pick any car you want. The only difference they pick what Race Livery they want 1st. Unlimited picks in Cars. I want everyone to enjoy the Series. Not put a limited on how many BMWs you can pick. You and your Teammates can talk about whst car.

I do kind of think ozwheels' idea is good, I'd be happy to be chosen for any team, but I'd be disappointed if the other two drivers preferred a different car to me.

If we all write down what cars wed like to drive, then when it comes to picking teams the team leaders can look at who likes the same car as them to help them choose teammates.
 
Also i think it would be a good idea to put down the times you are available for practice.

As writing down our car choices would probably clog up the thread a bit, we could always pm our choices to a admin/steward and they can make a list (or Google doc) so that people can specify their preferred car and one other. As there's so many people I think some may need to be allocated a team because they may not be the most active. If anyone is pressed for time I don't mind doing it.

That's the document I came up with, I don't see why it has to be anymore complicated.

The setup is simple, just write your name on the far left column (underneath where I have already started), and then on your row change the colour of the cells underneath the gt3 cars you want to drive to green (as I have done with the McLaren and the ruf).

We only have a few days until we will be choosing cars and teams, so it's in your interest to test all of the gt3 cars and find out which ones you prefer asap and to edit your name into the spreadsheet.

If you do not put your name into the spreadsheet, the team leaders will assume you have no preferences on the car you drive. Stalliono has said that team picking is planned for Friday, so you have until then to get your name on the list.

If you can't edit the document for any reason, pm me with your preferred cars and I will put you into the document.

I haven't driven with you so no idea if you lag, but I have seen cars in the past flying all over the track due to lag. At this time it's basically game breaking, unlike driveclub where players who have a bad connection to the lobby turn into 'ghosts' and can't affect other people's races, on this the lagging car can still knock you off the track and ruin your race.

I've had it before where I was a second behind a person who was lagging, when all of a sudden my car has been thrown 10 metres into the air and completely destroyed both mine and the other drivers car.

In the few times I've raced with you I've never seen any problems :) may have just been a couple of one-offs.

I think we need to arrange some more pre-season races in the social thread with a mix of EU and US players though so we can get a good idea of network performance and deal with it if we can.

Exactly the same with me, i mean identical issue???strange, it took me a few minutes to get back into quali and totally ruined my session cos i lost all concentration, ive bin runnin simulated quali sessions and consistently getting over 2 seconds faster than i did in quali, but never mind, i just feel bad for all the guys in the botyom tier when i kick everyone's asses!
Im joking, my quali times always exceed my race pace so im probably more realistically placed with that time.

I wish I was like that, my qualifying times are always slower than some of my race times. Not sure why, guess it's cause I'm not worrying about lap times during the race.

There's nothing we can do bruv, it's too random and doesnt make a difference how strong your connection is.

He already qualified. Once qualifying is over on Thursday. I'll post the Times. Just a heads up. We need 2 replacements. I tried to get ahold of these 2. I shouldn't have to send a Bounty Hunter after anyone. Start looking for 2 replacements. I'll post it on Twitter and Facebook.
