Yeah anything that gets this done quickly is good. Can't stop checking this thread lol, just want to see who I'm with and what I get to drive.

Do team leaders have to choose their car straight away or do they talk to their team first before choosing?

The car is chosen after the teams are fixed. So you have some time to talk about the car
 
Regarding choice of team mate, I would be happy with any people who are happy driving the Aston, as I seem to be leaning towards that car myself. As I may be choosing shortly, and being ahead in the time zones, anyone who fancies driving that car would be a great team mate. I know we are supposed to discuss cars, but being realistic and hopefully speaking for several Pro drivers, we kind of have what car we would like fairly nailed down, that more so than who is in the team, so people happy to drive the same car would make natural teammates I feel.

I have not turned any laps in the Z4 yet mind you, but may not get the chance before needing to decide on car, but as it stands the Aston is what I have been turning most laps in lately and like it for the most part.

I hope I have not got ahead of myself here, but it would make sense for everyone to be happy in their car. :cheers:👍

Well ive not put down a car preference cos i think its up to is to learn the cars characteristics and tune it accordingly, i will be more than happy to drive whatever is selected by the pro in my team, it would be a boost to be selected early in the process though, and i promise ill behave and not get banned from gtp during the season @moderators, see im being good, reasonably good use of grammar and punctuation. Lol
P.S i just want to grt done asap so that i can set up my rig to suit the car and get it as realistic as possible in terms of FOV, sound and feeling.

I have not put my car preferences in the spreadsheet yet, as I'm open to drive any car, but I would love to drive the Aston (for the sound alone!).
All I hope for is that every car is represented in some way, so I'm open for driving something else than the popular McLaren and BMW ;)

So if you (@MrMattAdz) want to, just put me down as open to every car (on my phone right now)

Haha... Just made it into semi tier. :) this will be very interesting. Like the kid at school that gets picked last into the sports team. :D I'm really looking forward.

Getting on psn may be better to get the picks in. @FIL140 your job today is to have everyone pick their 2 Teammates. Remember can not have 2 Teammates from the same Tier. You can pick any tier you want 1st.

Was just about to ask a question about picking teams. Are we doing it tier by tier (everyone chooses a semi-pro teammate first and then an amateur teammate second) or are we doing it in any order (so people can pick either a semi-pro teammate or an amateur teammate first, and then choose a teammate from the other tier second?)

Edit: never mind you answered my question already, looks like it's the second way (which is good imo)
 
Some impressive qualification times you guys got there! I´m glad that I made it in the semi pro tier at least.
So now we get to choose a team mate? I personally don´t care who I´m with, im fine with anyone :)

The Pro Driver can pick any Tier 1st. Just can't pick 2 teammates from the same tier.
 
Are we still doing it so that 1st place chooses their first teammate, then 2nd place chooses theirs... And then when choosing the second teammate 15th place chooses their teammate first, then 14th place...?

1st Round Pro Drivers pick 1st best. The 2nd Round is 15th best goes 1st, then the 14th goes 2nd. The 3rd Round it's back to normal 1st best goes 1st. Someone get a Bounty on @ozwheels
 
I'm happy driving anything. I can definitely do better. Looks like I'll be gunning for "most improved".

I'm on it, bit tricky on my phone but should have it done soonish.

Edit: phew, finally finished editing out all of the guys who have dropped out for the new ones and finished adding everyone's times.

I won't mess with anything else for now because as I say I'm on my phone and I don't want to mess up any functions.
