Really we have to pay for the Bentley. I think that is crazy! You guys can use the Bentley this Season. As long as someone pays for my DLC.

Hopefully SMS structured the DLC so that it appears on everyone's disc and can be seen as an opponent's car even if you didn't buy the car. You guys should do a lobby test as soon as it's available before adding it to the series.

Patch is free, Bentley is not. 5 cars in total with DLC.

Edit: Just noticed on spreadsheet colour of our car is silver and black not orange. If someone could correct it. Thanks.

I've checked the spreadsheet but I can't see what you're talking about. At the moment I have not given you any team colours as you did not tell me what you wanted.

Haha we've been joking this whole time, there's no way anyone will get lower than a 2:03 I think, let alone a 1:46.

Seriously though, 2:08 is a decent start, and I was being serious when I said that maybe you should ask for help from your teammates if you're having trouble tuning, that's what they're there for (I have no idea how to tune and I don't mind admitting that km completely reliant in my teammates when it comes to that.

I don't want to tell you my times as I don't want to give other drivers in our tier a target, but to have a chance of winning in the amateur tier you're probably going to need around a 2.06 time (in qualifying at least, consistent and reliable race pace will probably be 2:07s)

It will be included in a patch otherwise people who didn't buy the DLC wouldn't be able to race with people who did buy it.

@STALLIONO Are we going to bother including it in the series?

Also I saw that apparently the pit related penalties are being addressed in this patch.

Hopefully :) I haven't checked PSN yet but I expect us lot in the UK to get screwed on the price seeing as exchange rates put it at around £2.80 - I bet it's £5.

I also agree, until we've all had hands on with it we shouldn't include it just in case it's much quicker than any of the others or we extend the car choice deadline to allow teams to change their pick to the Bentley if they want to.
 
I'm up for maybe waiting until someone has actually tested the Bentleys pace first, but I think it should be included for this season.
It's a GT3 and I expect them to have matched its performance to the other GT3 cars.
If it's like in real life, it might have one of the higher top speeds, but should have the same pace overall.

I have just purchased the dlc it was on the game from day 1 as it's just a unlock file I've been on the game looking at the stats, the dlc was only 2.89 so only cheap, but still a joke that they clearly held the cars back. Going to test the Bentley in few hours to see what it's performance is like.

That explains the screenshots from the PC version where people have found the car.
 
I don't think we should include it as you have to pay actual money to unlock it. I will probably be buying the DLC at some point but not everyone will, so it's unfair that people who pay will have access to a car that may turn out to be very competitive.

With regards to practice. I live in a flat and cant race at 2am UK time in the week as its pretty noisey with the wheel and will wake people up. And also i'll use stock set up most the time as I said when I posted my Silverstone time. I'm not spending 2 weeks practising for a 1hour race. Takes away the fun for me

The physics were not finalized in the release version, that's why they were held back ;)

And also i'll use stock set up most the time as I said when I posted my Silverstone time. I'm not spending 2 weeks practising for a 1hour race. Takes away the fun for me

I don't think he is, he was stating that he can't do any practices late at night due to where he's living. 2AM here is 9PM EST. I expect that he can make the races however as that's only at 7PM.

I'd agree if there had been a patch but no patch equals no changes to the cars, there as they were on release day. Shame there is no season pass at a reduced cost.

15mins on Road America. Setup only lowered wings.

First up this car has unbelievable torque. 175mph when I had to brake for first corner. It has great pulling power out of corners better than the McLaren I also thought the McLaren had the best brakes in game not anymore.

2.06.8 on second lap. With a bit more tuning I believe I will go easily a second quicker in this car than I can in the Mclaren. It is really fun to drive I like it. Even its tail happy coming out of slow to medium speed corners.

I did a few laps at hockenheim with it, it's a great car but it defiantly does not like bumps and it spun me round a few times haha needs a tune but increasing rear downforce levels did help abit

And for the patch I think I read Ian Bell say in the forums it's about a week/week and half away.
 
I'm not pulling out. Just not practising all the time like I said when I qualified. Hence why I didn't mind putting my time down at the earliest opportunity.


PS if I do find a setup for the z4 that is stable I will share as I find it hard to keep the back end from overtaking the front underbraking and acceleration

175? That seems really fast on stats it says top speed 170mph?
