You did a Nigel Mansell one corner from the end. I think another 1L and you would have made the line lol. Did you like my splash and dash mid way? haha I managed the undercut, all be it for only a lap or two :sly:

Yep, that was a sneaky move, but now i will be watching you :lol:
That's the thing about pit stops, it ads a flavor to the races with the diferents strategys.
 
I did notice one thing do after that pit stop I keep heating up my right front. I wasn't doing that before the pit and I did copy my tire pressures. If felt like an eternity waiting for tires n fuel. I did run my fastest time ever do 6 flat, maybe that why I was cocking the left front lol.
 
I made sure 'change tyres - No' was selected, as I have come out of the pits previously and the tyres where nowhere lol. I didn't want to risk coming out and having dodgy pressures.

That's very odd cus the right front is the less stress tire in RA, at least in my Audi...
Are you shure you had the right presure?
 
Yeah sorry my mistake left front. I know it was cuts I was pushing more went 5 tenths faster than I had before.
 
Anyone up for 27 laps at Road America 7pm UK time 30min Q then 27 lap race. get a list goin if your down 👍

How about if i start Q at 715 send you a invite would you be able just to jump in the race? Its just i have to go as soon as the race is over, so am pushed for time.
 
Yea, that sounds good. I don't need to have a full 30 mins quali, it's not like I haven't done any laps of the track :lol:

I will know a little closer nearer the time when I will be about. I can message if I will be mega delayed so as not to keep people waiting if I am really delayed. I could even be about by 19:00, but also need to be realistic. 19:15 or so would be realistic. Thanks

Another room is go. Quali starts at 22:15 BST, Race at 22:30, another 27 laps!

Room is open. Set to private. Damage on, failures on and practice is underway until 22:15. Let me know if you want in.
 
@STALLIONO Without wishing to scroll the many pages to find the definite answer, what is the score now with stops? I notice the number of laps is now 27 on the 1st page, but I was under the impression we were having stops? Is that now the final change for the races? It has changed so much I don't know where I am and am sure I am not alone in needing some clarification. Thanks

I'm guessing others are still having problems with Pit Stops. So we'll take them out for this Season. I'm hoping more Patches while we're in Season 1, will help bring them back for Season 2. They will be back though. The Laps will need adjusting. I think Road America will have 27 Laps. With 27 Laps, the Race will be around 55 minutes. That's a rough estimate.

Regarding the discussion we had on PSN tonight, I was not sandbagging during qualifying, I struggled immensely with the GT4 round Silverstone so didn't put in a great time.

As I'm sure a lot of guys here can vouch while I may be able to get a good lap now and again usually I end up binning it during the race. The time I posted earlier was after around 1 hour of constant practice at RA and I haven't got too close to it since. Before I started using my teams tune (which I have modified slightly so it is more stable) I was getting low to mid 2:09's.

In order to prevent this I believe we should keep the tiers as they are for season one but obviously if one person is dominating in every race they should be switched with the person in last from the upper tier but we should only do that after 2/3 races of this to ensure its not just the fact they're good at the tracks.

As Matt stated I also believe a solid 2:07 (maybe high 2:06) will be pole in the Am tier but I'm not sure who will get it as we have a good amount of people who haven't shared their times yet.
