I'm jealous of you guys, in my MW2 days a 25-3 or an 18-1 was common but now I don't think I've ever gotten 17+ kills.
Maybe it's because I don't like some of the maps as much.

It'll take a while to know the maps. Give yourself some time to adjust. As for getting shot in the back most of the time, most of that is just knowing what routes people will take. Though some players don't take normal routes, they generally will do the same thing over and over, so you can sort of predict it once you've spent a couple of minutes in a lobby. Once you know the maps, you'll be fine.

Also, what level are you? It may be worth putting down a bouncing betty behind you for covering. Put them just around a corner and most people won't spot them, not many use SitRep.

I like the addition of Final Kill cam, I know it's not a lot, but it is nice as you sometimes see the final kill. Earlier at Carbon it was a double kill with the SMAW. RUNNING ON AIR!

Javelwin game winning kill cam was amusing, landing about 3 foot from the guy it killed :D Cremation and killing all in one.

Managed to kill 5 people with one stealth bomber in Sabotage. There was only one guy left lol.
Anyway one level away from getting my gold camo for my type 95. Definitely my favourite gun in the game.

I need a good Spec ops survival mode buddy.
People online keep knifing me and dont help me get back up after I'm down.

Because most people are idiots and treat it as TDM. I love looking at the Lobby Leaderboard and seeing people with two sometimes three times as many kills as confirms.

If I start getting a streak going, and my team's winning, I don't bother Confirming any kills because that'll end the game quicker. Hence the reason I didn't bother going for the tags when I was on my 20th kill etc.
Plus if the tag you didn't pick up is denied, you know someone's there and you can run and kill them 👍

That's killwhoring, which is exactly what Icarus was getting at :dunce:

WHy dont they just go to team Deathmatch in stead of ruining the game for everyone its freaking annoying.

Has anyone else noticed a large amount of players with the same name? I've seen on 3 or 4 separate occasions where there's been "playersname" & "playersname (1)" on the same team. Never noticed this before on either of the previous 2 MW's :odd:

Am i missing something here?

In Black Ops they added the ability to play online split-screen, and it was kept in for MW3.

Clarification why the (1) is being added:

Happens when peeps have "guests" signed in to their console.

So if my 360 gamertag would be my GTP username and I'd have you at my house, playing the game in split screen, I'd be Mr. S and you'd be Mr.S (1) since your gamertag isn't saved on my console.

:)

Anyone else find the open MIC from the opposite team amusing after you kill them? Most are pretty cool and thankfully not a 5yr old, but keep hearing Damn, WTH, ****. But, best of all is if they are a networked team. You hear the dead guy trying to coach his teammate on my position. Majority of the time, I can get them…unless they have all 5 players coming at me from all directions. Great for me if they come for revenge.

The team killing is still annoying, but found out that you get timed out if you kill the same player more than 2 or 3 times. I don’t normally go after the team mate, but if he kills me 2 times back to back it got personal since he is adding to my total death! Now I just flash bang them especially if an enemy is around just so that he can get killed.

Loved the UMP and almost got it to Gold, but 1000 kills shy from the fancy title that you get after prestige (need 2500 total kills).

How do some people have kill avg of 150? I was assuming that the AVG was your average kills per game. One guy on my friends list has and avg of 144. He's ranked in the top 300 in HC kill confirmed, and I'm pretty sure he's not cheating with a 1.7 K/D. When you go and look at all of the top players their kill avg is crazy, but really none of the K/D ratio is as good as I thought it would be. I was expecting like 5 to 1 but most are under 2 to1.

With a kill average of 150 and a K/D ratio of 1.7, the guy must be getting killed almost a ninety times a match on average too. Is there enough time in a game to kill 150 times and die 90 times?

I say they're boosting.

How would they boost, just go into kill confirmed matches and never grab any tags?

There's almost always someone I know i real life playing with him, and no one elses AVG is anywhere near that. It's almost like there is a bug with the game that screws up the avg once you get so high or something. He may be boosting but I and other friends play with him enough, that there's no way he is always just sitting in rooms boosting when we are not on. Out of all of us that play with him on and off, there's only one other guy ranked high like that and he is rankked in the top 30.

The high average is a glitch. When I prestiges I had 400 kill average. It happens when people prestige.

I go for the win. Winning is everything. Its no fun losing. I hate seeing people camping tags and ****. Whats the point of killing me after I deny your kill just to get my tags? Its stupid. That and no one wants to grab tags for you or themselves. Its so bad I could probably go around and get MVP just by confirming kills. I really like KC but there needs to be more team work. When the top two players on one teams kills equal more than 65 and it still takes the whole team to get the win something is wrong.

Often makes me laugh when you get the scores at the end and the campers have a score of like 6-2. Nice contribution!

As for KC, maybe they need to make it only available to parties of 3+.

I play for the won too. Since playing alone through out Black Ops I only roll with a party. Too many players going 3-29 causing me to lose.

I think that it's about time we get a serious clan going.
I think that quite a few of us are good, but not great. Myself included.
But I doubt that's nothing a bit of training from the few enlightened ones we have here can help fix through a bit of training.
So what do you guys think?

Not all of the OG GTP NA have the game. When we played together in MW2 it was brutal. Holding the other team to less than 10 kills a game wasn't unheard of.

It's Call of Duty where people have always been known to camp for kills and killstreaks instead of contributing to capturing/destroying objectives and winning games. Did you really expect anything different? :ouch:

But camping for kills in an object game like Domination or some of the bomb ones has a purpose since it prevents the other team from completing the objective which in turn helps your team. Camping for kills in Kill Confirmed helps no one. If you want to treat it like a TDM, just go play TDM. I'm actually pretty upset that I have 200 more kills than confirms in KC.

I'm starting to notice the differences in MW3 compared to MW2 and BlOps in terms of gun play. I was a solid 1.65+ KDR in MW2 and BlOps but I can't seem to move off of 1.4-1.5 in MW3. It might be that I tend to use Support more so I don't have lots of air support up, plus Blind-Eye and SAM turrets, but in BlOps I wasn't getting air support nearly as often as MW2.

I've peaked my K/D so far at just over 2.4 before it settled around 2.3 last night. 2.5 KD seems easily sustainable in this game so far. I'm just running the Assault streaks with 3-5-6 and hardline.

I got up to level 62 tonight and played a round with the Model 1887. Are there no attachments for that gun? There's a two attachment proficiency. I've heard the Range proficiency makes it really good. I also got to level 24 on my G36C, so I guess that's what I'll try to gold next. Also learned that camos don't carry over when you bring over a gun in the Prestige Shop, I was pretty bummed.

Is anyone prestiging? I'm willing to go all the way to 10th prestige to get all my custom classes, and the "packages".

The packages are pretty lame, if I'm honest. I expected a couple interesting things, but it's just one title and one emblem. There's better looking/more interesting titles and emblems unlocked just through challenges. I've decided that when I do prestige I'm grabbing a class and bringing over the ACR and Assassin, if I'm able to use 2 tokens to bring gear in one prestige.
