I think I should start recording my videos and uploading them - Youtube just email me for Monetization (i.e. I get teh moniezz).
Problem is, I've got an EasyCap and that only records at 25 fps on PAL. I guess I could go into theater mode and record it at half length, then speed it up again on a software so I get 50 fps.

My favourite game mode throughout the series. 👍 (since cod4)
I was disappointed in Black Ops because the games only lasted 10 mins but MW3 lasts 20 mins max. :)
BTW I've got all of the challenges for my SCAR apart from the head shots and amount of kills ones. Half a level away from getting gold camo.

Black Ops was weird for me too. Didnt log much time into it and towards the end, only enjoyed S&D. Headquarters was ok from time to time, but the spawn of the dead was weird.

👍 !!! I finally got my SCAR to lvl 13(? for HBM) last night...just a few more kills to finish the Heart Beat Monitor challange, but not going to enjoy the Masterkey attachment challange :yuck: Had to really sneak around last time to catch a sniper off guard. Face to Face, that attachment sucked!

Don't bother, you get so little money it's not even funny. You need millions of views each video and tonnes of subscribers to make anything out of it. I could monetize it and Turbo-Lag from here could use partnership if he wanted to, there's just no point.

With PSN being down I decided to start the campaign. Went through 4 missions so far and it's pretty interesting. I have noticed though that so far on Veteran it's been easier than MW2, which I don't mind as there were a couple missions in 2 that really kicked my behind.

When is PSN going back online? :dunce:

6AM GMT apparently.

I only just found that out by trying to go online on MW3, restarting the PS3, going on GTP and reading a thread that I thought was unrelated, and then saying to myself....... doh!

:irked:👍

I'm struggling to get into the multiplayer at the moment. The action seems to be too fast paced and I hate the hovering symbols over dead bodies. Black Ops seemed to have the balance just right and now it seems like they've added in a bunch of stuff just because they felt they had to.

I'm disappointed although I'm going to complete the campaign before considering trading this in.

That's just in the Kill Confirmed game mode, you don't have those hovering things in regular TDM.

I am doing absolutely rubbish right now. :( I have not managed to get about a 5 kill streak so far. The SCAR is a really strange gun, it's great while sometimes being rubbish. Might try out the type 95...

CM901 kick and silencer. ;) Also don't be afraid to raise your sensitivity. It seems crazy at first. bout fifth game your loving the speed.

My sensitivity is at 5 (one notch about high) 👍 Any higher than that then I suck at tracking my targets.

Your best bet is probably the Type 95. Such a good gun.

Yeah I'll try it later on. 👍
The SCAR is excellent at mid range but suffers at close and sometimes longer ranges. Still a great gun, though. I have yet to try the type 95 but from what I've heard it's a beast. Supposed to be best with rapid fire and a silencer.

I finally found some lovin' for Resistance. Using a Dragunov and silence MP9. 16 for 9, about 13 with the Dragunov.

Don't like Carbon either, still not played at Underground or Village! (Though have run around them in a private match)

Finally had some success with a SAM Turret, at Carbon, they'd put up a UAV and I'd been waiting to use the SAM for a couple of minutes, set it up in some nice open space, but near a building I was covering it from. Took down the UAV, a chopper they put up and something else, Osprey iirc.

High sensitivity is over rated. Playing your position better makes a larger difference. I played with the default, sometimes lower, in MW2 for the most part. That, and I can't aim for crap with thumb sticks anyhow :p

I think I may pick this up sometime next week, during the holiday break for turkey and what not.

Yea being able to flip 180 and blast someone from hearing them creeping is bad....Please!

Wait you dont even have the game? Your opinion is not valid.

Ive played since MW and never gotten use out of a higher sensitivity. This game seemed like it was lower from the get go then others I've played.

Then again I hadn't used a controller much in the last year.

Just stating things that helped me. Others seemed to be having problems.

Also give the CM901 a go. Gotta have kick and silencer for it to be right. So I think. I was told by a FPS freak to try it. It's nice.

The trick is to never have someone creeping up on, duh. I have little trouble with people getting behind me because I play the game in a way that lets me stay aware of flanking options.

And  at my opinion being invalid. Ten to one this is built on the same engine as MW2, and ten to one most of the 20 years of FPS gaming experience I transfers quite well to this game. Or being 9th Prestige in MW2 (I could easily be 70 on tenth, but that skull icon is lame)

Higher sensitivity means twitchier responses, thus less smooth when it comes to aiming and tracking targets. It also makes small adjustments easier to make, thus making Headshots a touch easier to manage I feel.

Guys it's all down to preference. As a said, I go 5, which works great for me. In MW2 I used to go much higher and I didn't think it did me any good.
The major advantage with a higher sensitivity is if you are stunned you can aim quicker. It has saved my life multiple times for that reason alone.

I honestly think how stun grenades and sensitivity work is a bit of a design flaw - should just reduce it to the same level regardless of settings, rather than modifying the current curve by a percentage.

But yes, personal preference is a big part of it. Though, if you look into the pro levels of play, in games where you have head shots and team play, lower sensitivity is more common than not. Quake and UT are a bit different, but even then there is quite a bit of lower sens players.

I'm on about level 3 on MW3. I don't like it higher than that or I start make pretty bullet hole circles in the wall behind the enemy!

As for being crept up on and having high sensitivity is useful for that, that's why I have good 5.1 speakers. I can hear you from 50 feet and I know exactly what entrance you're coming in to if I'm in a building. Having surround gives me a quarter of my kills at least.

Anyway. My post was an offering of help. See where that gets ya.

So with that. Enjoy I am out of this thread. I'll stick with having fun and sharing tips with friends that appreciate the gesture.

You are the one that got all touchy about it and personal. Keep that in mind before you attempt the high and mighty aspect.

This is an internet forum, people will have different views and methods for going about expressing them.

I wish mercenary TDM was split up from kill confirmed. I'm not playing with a clan at the moment and it's hard to get into the game when playing against up to 4 or more people from the same clan with much more experience.

Mercenary is usually kill confirmed, not that I don't like it but TDM is more fun for me.

Finally managed my first chopper, took me a long time.

I recommend Sabotage for higher kill streaks. By the way guys, the Type 95 is definitely the best gun in the game so far. It really improves your accuracy when you use it too. I recommend a silencer and rapid fire.

Oh and does anyone think assassin is an overpowered perk? UAVs are pretty useless in most matches now.

Overused in Black Ops (Ghost) and overused here.

Just makes you less dependent on radar. Back in the good ole days, why, we didn't have anything that fancy to find the bad guys with. Halo spoiled a lot of people.

5.1 on the other hand, over even good stereo, can make a huge difference.
