If you pick up your own tags in KC, then you get 250 XP: 'Got Your Tags'. People stand on top of their own Tac Inserts and when they die, they respawn on their own tags, getting 250 XP. You'll know there's a booster when you see someone with loads of XP, but their KD ratio is horrible.
 
Okay, so basically people tag boost because they can't be arsed playing the game normally and ranking up through proper gameplay, instead doing something that would be boring as hell after 30 seconds to earn their XP :odd:

Why do these people exist in the world...
 
Probably not reportable, but it is a "strategy" right? Haven't played this game in a while, might pop it back in later today! :D

It blows my mind how people sit around and do things like this for their ranking. I bet not even 1 out of 1000 people you play with, pay any attention at all to your rank. I have played this for 2 days of play time now and haven't payed attention to 1 persons rank except for the people I play with, and then I just look at the K/D and win loss record.

I played the other day in a random room and 2 guys literally layed back to back in a corner and just super camped. I'm all for campnig if it helps your team win, but one of them went like 5-0 and the other was like 8-0 or something. We won the game I and another guy that was doing good was on their team, but they lost the next 3 that they were not playing with us.

Why just lay there when your losing? If it's getting you wons that's one thing, but when your losing you need to make something happen other then padding you K/D.

Played in a lobby last night with 3 or 4 guys who were obviously in a clan together. Two of them were 1st level prestige and the the other/s were 2nd level prestige (already!?!) - looked at their K/D's expecting them to be impressive, not one of them was over 1:1, most of them were .7xx or .6xx, one of them was .54x!
 
There's 2 guys on another forum I go on who are on the 5th Prestige, I don't think they sleep. One of them I know isn't a booster, no idea about the other.

Came up against a bunch of campers at Interchange last night, they were going 3-9 or 1-6, or similar silly scores. Such an easy map to fire a SMAW across, in the last 4 minutes or so they started using toobs, they finally got some kills with aggression. But we won by about 20 kills, I didn't have a particularly good night, my K/D stayed the same overall, win streak is currently 15 unbeaten.

Had a bad game at Hardhat, which is unusual, couldn't settle on a class. Not sure if shotgun/Machine pistol (my Dome class) would suit Hardhat, there are a few mid-range areas, so I didn't use it.

But yeah, if you're going to camp at least provide some sort of challenge. I had a final kill bouncing betty kill at Seatown. Funneh.
 
Has Daniel hit the MOAB yet? Domination might be the spot where you can get one on a medium to large map. Finally got a grasp of Domination. Just have to be near 2 flag points. Just stay on top of things and keep the other team at their original flag. Sometimes, it helps to get into the other teams spawn point. Managed to get 3 Precision Strick & 3 Attack Helicopter in 1 life by accidently being in their spawn. Sucks that you cant save killstreaks. Lost a Sentry Gun since I was busy trying to fight for my life.

As for campers, I dont care if they do or dont, but I would rather have my team play with caution vs running around the map without a head on their shoulders for HC TDM. K/D does matter on this game mode. Nothing worse than losing by a point or having all my teammates with a negative K/D.

Not yet :( I've gotten pretty close though with 1 kill left on Sea Town KC, 4 kills left on Interchange KC.

If I do hit a MOAB, it'll be on Hardhat, Seatown or Interchange on KC or Domination ('cause they're the only maps I really like :p)

Anyway I wonder if it is up to 10th prestige, or higher?
The highest I've ever gotten to is 3rd prestige for any CoD. :(

I got to max level (can't remember) but never prestiged. Black Ops was good but sniping was dead in it. Still I miss some features that are missing in MW3.
 
It was dead, but it was fair. Still can't believe how many people just put Steady Aim on their sniper and suddenly they were a Quick Scope god :lol:.

Anyway I'm quite angry about these future map packs. I'm not sure wether to get cod elite or not. :( IW sure know how to steal people of their money.
 
There's 10 prestiges in MW3 and 2 people on XBOX have reached that already. :crazy: I stopped at 14th prestige for Black Ops.

That guy is a joke. Nothing but a stat whore. I skipped through the video and I saw at least 5 times he could have captured the point but he just ran looking for kills. People like that annoy the crap out of me. Put your personal rewards aside and do something to help the team. Go play TDM if all you care about is kills. I want to gather up all the people like that and the snipers I meet in Kill Confirmed, put them in a barn, and drop a MOAB on them all.

And you think that people view Call of Duty as a strategy/ team game at all? Its all about the stats, you dress to impress, and thats how they do it. If that gets them views on youtube why wouldn't they do it? The world is a selfish place, its all about the money, kills = views, views = money.

Its games like BF3 where playing for kills is a joke and is viewed upon as wrong. Cod is cod, take it for what it is.

I would play for kills if I was close to getting a game changing killstreak back in MW2 - AC130, etc. But a lot of people run crappy killstreaks and still just try to get kills over objectives.

I think snipers would be useful in Kill Confirmed. Provided they did their job of keeping the enemy down while someone collects tags. Would still mean they are moving with the team though, which I imagine is a concept that eludes many people.

The problem with snipers in KC is that a lot of the time the teams are bunched together. You might pick off 3 people, but the rest of their team is right there to deny the kills. It's just not as useful as flanking or running and gunning in close quarters and clearing out a spot before collecting tags.

I really need to start partying up with people so I can escape the stupidity that is Mercenary KC.

I played the American version of the game for a long time because it was the only game I could play without making my computer crap itself :lol:
 
Are clans up and running been trying to start one but do not have the option to. Does anyone have any suggestions?

For some reason, I get a bit of a TF vibe from it, with the somewhat comical style and nature of it all.

I swear QQ has its hand in everything Chinese though. Everything on their internets at least.
