You can change which guns the survivors use. I was playing a game that Cowboys joined that was using a FAD with RDS and Shotgun and RSASS ACOG. I got a MOAB but the host quit the game before it went off :grumpy:

im just contemplating whether its worth playing in a community with a brony in it... one in about 20 million players is a bit too high a risk for running into one of them... we all know they have no life, and that can translate to a high level of skill on mw3. btw, i wasn't whammed!

Scuse the Double Post, but I've got an Infection lobby up atm and we need MOAR!!!!
Add me if you haven't: Lazer0pz

Are you trying to annoy people?
And I think that you have less of a life than those who you are opposing simply because you think that it is worth your time to insult them. If you had a 'life' then such an act would not be of importance for you to complain.
Listen, I was anti-brony too. Just get over it.

Dang. I should have checked sooner. I just turned my PS3 off. Zombiessss.

Dude, bronies have lives. My best friend is a brony, he is the drama club, and on the fencing team at our school so he does have a life. Just to clarify, I am not a brony.

On topic, a massive lag spike kept me from having a 4 man first blood feed today.

I forgot about this thread(and MW3 once I completed spec ops and campaign mode, I still need to get that achievement of the 5 grenade kills). If you guys want, I can update the OP with the usernames and the PSN/XBL of the guys who regularly play, so you can have a quick list of the people who plays around these forums.

Funny enough I also played a lot of BF3 until I shifted to ArmA II, and having bought these games from the income I receive from my work makes me think that someone is just making a fool of himself, either way you should measure your words.

Says a guy having super bunny in his signature

Go post drivel else where.

I was on for a few games with a friend but then went off to dinner, so I think I ended up not accepting some invites earlier.

CAM
My friend got one in Drop Zone on X360 with a thermal AS50 (along with picked up weapons), but the match ended right as he tried to call it in. He's planning on posting it on YouTube as "MOAB Fail".

I'm guessing he never actually played the objective then.

I still have yet to get a MOAB. Dunno if it just not finding the right lobby or what, but I'm still climbing up from my KD of 2. The ACR has certainly improved my play quite a bit as well.

I have two groups of friends I play with. One plays regular core games only and the others will only play hardcore. Last night I setup some private matches between the two. The first 3 games were regular deathmatches and the regular team won all 3. The next were hardcore search and destroy and the team that always plays hardcore won all three. The argument came about which takes more skill to kill shoot someone.

My argument is the regular core takes more because you have to line your shot up and make good contact to get the kill, instead of like hardcore where you can just spray and hope you land the one shot in the foot to get the kill. The hardcore guys used the exact same argument but said that hardcore takes a better shot because of this. Both team absolutely hated the others game mode. The grudge match came down to a rubber match and it ended up being a regular team deathmatch and the hardcore team won it. I played with them though and went 19-8 and the 2nd place player on my team went 14-13, so it really didn't prove anything. I had planned on playing with the regular guys, but the hardcore team was short a guy so I helped them out.

What do you guys think? Which way takes a better shot to be successful, hardcore or regular?

One of the main reasons i switched to HC only is down to lag issues. If i have to land half a dozen+ hits before i can take down a moving target, then i'm less likely to get the kill if the player i'm aiming at is actually a fraction of a second further away than where i'm aiming at due to latency. With HC i only need one or two hits to get that kill.

It also allows me to successfully use a 3-round burst AR that can double up as a decent alternative to a sniper rifle.

I now prefer it's slightly less frantic style of play than you find in regular core games. HC games tend to be that bit slower paced and a little more tactical, mainly down to the lack of a constant radar HUD, player ID tags and the ability to kill your team mates self with stray or thoughtless bullets and munitions.

In my opinion, Hardcore takes the least amount of skill. It's ridiculously easy to kill someone, and all you really need to do is find a spot and camp. With no radar and no kill cam, no one can tell where you are 90% of the time. That's not to say that there aren't tactical ways to play, but it's far too easy to do nothing and still dominate, much more so than in regular modes.

This I feel as well. A lot of HC tends to be people sitting in corners and just waiting, because they don't want to go out because of other people sitting in corners. Makes for fairly boring games I feel.

Still haven't gotten a MOAB yet, but had my best game to date at 52-7-0 playing GW Domination at Village. Reaper got me several triple kills, and I think I've got the hang of it now.

I'm used to the Black Ops scoreboards where's its just Kills and Deaths... does 52-7-0 mean 7 assists and no kills? or 7 kills and no assists?

Surely you must've gotten loads of gun kills? What was your Pointstreak set-up?

Predator, Airstrike, Reaper. I never got a notice for the MOAB or anything? Like, does it just happen or do I have to activate it? There were a lot of kills from the Reaper drone and I my first Predator was a multi-kill. I was finally in a game with one and it was cool how the game felt after it went off. Though I wasn't on the receiving end :dopey:

The FAD with Silencer and Hybrid Sight seems like a very nice combo. Seems like it could also be useful with Recon Pro, as I get to see it in action when I go All Perks.
