but Ghost C does indeed believe his is the best in the world.,.. that's the issue.

It's called pride, everyone with a custom car has a big love for their vehicle.

No, it's called delusions of grandeur... pride is being proud of you car and what you've done to it. Claiming it's the fastest in the world and that nothing on the face of the earth cam beat it is delusional.

He never once said that he can beat anything, although since not to many people modify Caddy's I'm going to guess that his is one of the fastest.

"In no way shape or form have I ever claimed to have the fastest DeVille in the world."

I'm not going to argue this point into the ground. If you don't believe that I have the fastest 4.9 DeVille, go over to the Cadillac Forums, register, and ask them "Does Ghost C have the fastest 4.9 DeVille in the world?" because I was not the first person to call my car that.

Now, since you have such a hard time believing me, I will once again give you a challenge. Find a 4.9 powered DeVille, or even just a FWD DeVille, that is faster than my car.

I'm old enough to know that you can't argue against kids who think they're right. If you can't prove it, the story can't go any further. You claim you may scan all these innumerable receipts and all, but we both know you aren't going to do that... wouldn't want you to "incriminate" yourself.

But I have proved it, that's the point you're missing. Just because I don't feel the need to post videos, timeslips, or dyno charts every time some questions my car doesn't mean it's not everything I say it is. Not having proved it and not having proved it to you are two totally different things. You should learn that.

As for the second point, you've backed yourself into a corner that you can't get out of. Here's a link to one of my customer's car domain pages. Of course, I suppose I just made that page up and posted pictures of a car totally different than mine that's halfway across the country, but still somehow magically has my intake on it, right?

If you want to keep going, the scanner is upstairs.

No how about you guys just drop it and get back on topic--or lock the thread. I wish this forum allowed you to lock your own thread...because I'd lock this one for being massively offtopic.

Then let's try this again.

The Mustang, I will bet $5, just had the exhaust and sounds like it needed a tuneup. The driver was also a nervous wreck, as you can tell by the way he short-honks the last of the 3. The Focus, bare minimum, had a turbo manifold, full hard pipes for the turbo, a decent intake, and an exhaust, and some type of boost controller, boost retard, and fuel management. It had a downpipe with a cat, or a very small downpipe. It was also poorly tuned.

Contrary to what people are saying on the comments, neither one of those cars are capable of running anything lower than a mid 14 second pass. It's funny to see a pair of cars with so much potential run so slow.*

The Mustang would've won from a dig, and should've won from the kick, but I blame the loss on poor driving moreso than being out-gunned. And that's my analysis of the video, take it or leave it.

*I live in High Point, NC. I cruise North Main. I see cars that break the 800whp mark every week. Most of them are Fox bodies or new Cobras. I know guys who are running bigger hp shots of nitrous than both of those cars make put together. There are 14 second N/A Focii here. The cars in the video, to me, are slow.

How are we supposed to do that if you do not provide proof (timeslips, videos, etc.) of how fast your car is to begin with?

I've been trying to do get it back on topic a few times... on the other hand, you can lock it if you're premium ;)

You could always ask a mod to lock it as well.

Well consider this an official request for a lock. Even after Ghost C went back on topic skip went back off...it's just a no win situation here. There's always people who want the last word.

He can have it.

What's your take on the cars in the video? I gave my analysis.

Ghost What does your car run now? inthe 1/4 or the 1/8??? Just curious...

It's nice to see someone trying to be different, and the car looks alright...
but you need to chill out on all your ranting...

you're supposed to PM the Mod... but I've already done that :)

Yep...we're done.
