Hey guys. I have a bit of time on my hands here lately and want to modify and trick out my Playseat a little bit. I have a Logitech G27 with the seat slider and shift mount.
Im wanting to put some lights on it for the heck of it. Im not very familiar with 110 volt, but I am with 12 volt. I have some neon tube lights meant for a 12 volt system. Two tubes. I have a vast amount of wall plug in chargers from various phones. So if anyone is good with electricity and knows how to hook this up safely, let me know. Im thinking I am going to need a converter. But if my cell phone charger has an input of 110 volts and an output of 5 volts, then it should light up and be safe, right? 5 volts isnt going to brighten up the neon tubes all that bright, so maybe Ill dig around and find another one laying around that has a bit more output.
I know this may sound dumb to some people, but I have had these tubes forever and dont know what to do with them and they arent going in my truck. Im kinda done with those. These would be going under the seat on my Playseats Evolution.
