Does anybody know anything about Momo alloy road wheels?

I did a search and only found items on their steering wheels...

I was looking at getting the v10s but wanted to make sure they were not trash before I bought them.

Thanks!!

What do you mean by "trash"?

They look heavy, thats pretty much the only thing I can say about them. It's not like they're going to explode or anything. I don't really like how they look, but that's just me.

Any wheel that's got the proper safety ratings on it isn't "trash" by any means. Beyond those ratings though there are obviously better designed wheels for specific purposes, racing especially, that are noticeably lighter than others while still being just as strong if not more.

The majority of brands and the wheels they make fall into an "average" category I guess you could call it. Momo and TSW would be good and popular examples - they look decent but they're not good at anything in particular. There aren't many companies that go through the trouble of designing wheels for purposes other than looking good, and when they do it costs a pretty penny.

Thanks for the replies.

What I meant by trash is if they are worth buying or not. I am not going to race them, just wanted to get a new look.

They are only $105 a wheel, that is why I questioned the quality...

If you're just going to be cruising around with them they'll work perfectly fine. Structural integrity shouldn't be a concern at all unless you're putting some uncommonly high forces into these things like aiming straight for big potholes with your low-pro tires, bouncing over curbs on a track, or running some gravel rally course at 100 mph.

Ok thanks!

I appreciate that Keef.
