Monaro Challenge!

Hey Guys

An open challenge for anyone to try and beat my lap time at Trial Mountain of 1.40.428 using the Holden Monaro with ROAD tyres.

Hopefully this IS a challenge =P

To clarify, you must use the STANDARD car with no modifications, including oil changes

If you did indeed do that time with road tyres, kudos to you! That time is unbeatable, i think.
I managed a best of 1'48.612. With a little more practice i could get close to about 1'47.900, but i won't get close to your time.

I got a 1'44.251 on my second lap, but I know for sure there isn't another 4 seconds out there to take off unless I start bouncing off walls and cutting corners.

Yeah, i gotta agree. Its difficult to believe that a 1'40 is possible without cutting a corner somewhere.

But then again, i never thought a 1'44 was posible

Ps. The Monaro with Road tyres is a real handful. It requires alota skill to balance the oversteer and achieve great times.

This seems to be that same old story when someone relatively unknown to most of us posts quite a fast laptime.

In all modesty, of course, I just had to see whether Dr Ranek indeed could have been able to do that within the standard OLR-rules for this track.... My findings??

After little more than half an hour I hit 1'40.003... totally clean, of course and more to spare.
I presume he did it in Arcade Mode 👍

Well, AK... depends really... but if you´re lookin' to get some compatible times it´s pretty damn crucial, I would say.

Btw, improved slightly and got a 1'39.804 the same day... and replay saved ofcourse.

im not even going to try! Not after that.....okay im lying.... 1'43.675 but im confident if i mick a little bravery in there i could get a 1'43.xxx
