Nearly 1,000 of you passed up driving one of the best FWD cars in GT7, last Monday.

Monday Night Racing races are designed to help all drivers improve. We drive anything anywhere. If it is in the game, it is fair game.

Driving AWD cars fast can be a challenge. You need time to adjust to the different drivetrain. These races are the ticket that you need to push your skills. Take the first track. It looks simple, right? Easy too dismiss? Wrong! It is deceptively simple, but difficult on which to be consistently fast. And there are a few Walls of Champions to avoid. It is the perfect warm-up track because it will set the pace for the night. Dragon Trail, with the chicane of death, deserves more respect for the track and car. After those two tracks, Nurburgring will be a chef's kiss because it is way easier to drive compared to the previous challenges.

Well, we had quite a response to the R34, last night!

Tough to do in the middle of a summer.

So many tow trucks had to be called, too. 😁
 
Each week, this thread has hundreds of readers! Since the last posting, nearly 750 curious drivers wanted to learn about our racing.

Thank you, but why not race with us and learn for yourself what fair racing is like? Everyone earns their place at the finish line. We all drive the same car with the same specs, but the cars can be tuned to your driving style. The only driving aid allowed is ABS, and tires are chosen after being carefully tested, which can help you a lot with the Weekly Time Trials. Experiential learning and repetition are used to help us become better drivers.

But there is still room for you. You are reading about our racing presumably because you too want to become a better driver. Right? There is a wide variety of drivers each week, too, and we all get something from racing these challenges together. You can too.

Read the top post again, and I truly look forward to your racing with us each week.

We have run some pretty amazing cars in our GT7 MNR series, but it will take a lot of determination to not drive this Viper. Don't do it! Join us on Monday.

Version 1.71, essentially, makes GT7 a new game.

We drove them last night, very fun car. Pretty sure brake bias will make the car dance correctly. I would join but we are hosting a birthday party Monday night. Have fun
 
Next Monday is the 31st and, therefore, there will be a Special MNR Event using the Caterham Seven 2008!

There will be 6 races and no repetition. However, because the unusual car is a fan favourite and likely will be modified by many drivers, there will be 2 PP levels - the usual MNR settings, plus the next rank up - 600 PP - without permanent changes.

The track types will differ because of that. Tracks with lots of repetition, and longer tracks, to unleash the Seven. Good variety to help us understand the car.

If you don't have a Seven yet, you can buy it outright. It is also able to be won through the Daily Lottery, but don't count on it.

Will you finally join us and learn about your interesting new car?

Car: Caterham Seven Superlight R500 2008

There are two sets of regulations. The first set is with normal MNR settings, the second set is at 600 PP through specific parts. Set up two tuning sheets, so that you don't make mistakes or waste time. The base car's tracks will be run first, then we will run the second set at 600 PP. Please have these tuning sheets ready to load.

This unusual car will be used a lot, by PD in the game and by fans. Join us to learn about the Caterham.

Add the FC Suspension, Differential, Manual Transmission. The Brake Controller is useful.
