HI ALL
did a search for this , but nothing came up so heres a new thread !!!!
How many of you agree that the gran turismo series , money making scheme is far to lucrative ,
Meaning , its far too easy too make quick money on the game , and all too easy to end up with 800 bhp skyline after a few hours of play .after all nobody in real life moves from a crappy old escort , to a flame spitting skyline in a few days ( unless of course you win the lottery , or have money to begin with --- in which case what the hell would you be doing driving an escort anyway
)
I for one am very happy to see the return of the second hand car market in GT4 .
i feel this was a big part mising from gt3 , however , i didnt like the fact at the begining of the game i found myself repeating races over & over , just to win cars i could sell to make money . i appreciate that this is a very good part of GT , but cant help wonderning if there was a way to slow this process down somewhat ,so that the curve from being poor to rich was harder to achieve .
One way i have thought of is to see PD implement mechanical damage , and repair costs . I.E
After you have bought your car and raced it for so many miles , you would have to spend some of your hard earned winnings , bying new parts or repairing worn ones .
Further to this , as with the oil in gt3 , where you had to pay to do an oil change , wouldnt it be nice if there were other things that gradually wear and need to be replaced , such as brake pads and discs , clutches , etc..etc...
not only would this slow down the " BECOMING RICH IN TWO DAYS " process , but would also add a greater sense of realism .............
What do you think ................
