Yes, the game used to be really buggy. So what happend was my cars dissapeared along with yacht and another house.

you can ether do the cup glitch, or do player vs player races for 50K each time Both very time consumeing

Yes they have been but if you delete the updates, do glitch then re update it, you should have the cash .

I've heard many players brag about how easy it is to make money. What am I missing?

I'm a pauper in TDU2. I dress up like I own the Casino, but make very small bets from my 25,000 stash. Meanwhile the other high rollers are throwing around millions. Bah.
