More ad problems

I didnt find this mentioned alse where,

With these new ads like the only pictured below causes my mouse cursor to flash constantly, so sometimes its hard to click on things.

It only happens on the ads that give you a bullseye to click on a card of smilie.

*Edit* I just had a time where I couldnt see the cursor at all exept a couple blinks.

It does that to me too. This new advertising agency has larger ads, which Jordan controls with html, I think, and they have fewer ads. You only see a few ads ever, it isn't like the old ads where you could be on the site for quite awhile and not see the same ad.

Yeah , that's why changed to GTP Lite again.
I tought it was just my mouse which was 🤬 up

Yeah same here! I started trying to clean the optical lens and shaking the mouse and stuff!

Until I realised it was working fine on other websites..... 👍

I ditched the ad company last night that I believe was showing those ads. I did update our ad code, however, so its Javascript may be interfering with the page itself. The complaints of slower speed may also be an issue for our IE users, as it will wait until the ad loads before displaying the rest of the page. I'll investigate the issue today.

I just switched computers and I got that evil advertisement that moves, making your cursor blink.

I've noticed large adverts in the first posts of threads when not logged in at college. It's rather annoying. Are those supposed to be there?

I don't mind paying for extra features but I don't think the browsing pleasure of the non-paying members should be degraded because of faulty adverts,

But wait! You can use firefox and Adblock to accomplish the exact same thing!

Translation: I can't afford $39.99 a year or even $4.99 a month to pay for no ads. Free is better, IMO.

You can get ad blockers for IE too, they block banner ads and the Ads by Goooooogle that show up in the Sponsors area.

No way. If I had the money, I would become a premium member. I'm currently in college now and can't afford much. Believe me, I want to become one but it isn't in my budget right now. This site is the best website on the internet period and I'd love to support it financially if I could.

I hear you on the college student thing .. I'm broke b/c of books and stuff, once I get my tax returns I'll be a p-r-e-m-i-u-m member, then I'll actually have a little bit of money to spend.
