4 Boxsters and 2 911s... you can do better than that. :p I want Turbos, GT2s, GT3s even!

Look again - three Boxsters, three 911s dammit! I want my due!

I've seen a zillion Turbos. Unfortunately, I'm so bad with Porsche I can't tell the difference in the slightest. I can't even tell the difference between the old and new 911s. I'll just keep taking more shots of Porsches and you can tell me if there's any Turbos.

I've seen a few GT3s but never a GT2.

And yes, the Ridgeline is that ugly. Perhaps even more than that, actually.

I know - I didn't think it was that bad until I looked at that photo. Man.

I can take lots of picture of cars but I haven't got the guts to do it because I might be caught and told off. :grumpy:

Pah - so what? Public domain. Most people with cool cars would probably enjoy their car's picture being taken anyway. One day maybe everyone will realise the value of the GMC Typhoon and take my car's picture. :D

On the Porsche notes, one of the 911s is a 40th Anniversary Edition. I bet it said 911 on the tail, the only 996 to have that. They made a bunch of them, over a thousand I think, I've seen one around where I live. GT2s are far rarer than GT3s, I'd be impressed to see one. Only 2 Lamborghinis? That seriously is surprising. I have seen many. Several Gallardos (I can think of 5 sightings off the top of my head), a Murcielago, 3 Countachs (high chance of kit-cars ruining these sightings though) and a Diablo.

The only Lamborghinis I've ever seen were 2 white Countachs (and one was in a dealer, so it doesn't count). They might actually have been the same one.
I have seen a convertable NSX though, I think that's pretty cool (not t-top, convertable). Wish I had a camera...

Hmm. I have no idea. One of the convertibles?

I've never lived in a Lamborghini place (California, Florida, Texas). I've seen 15-20 total but, yep, just two on the road. :)

I think Ridgeline looks great! Then again, I also like the Element and as far as I know, I'm the only person(other than the designer himself and the owners) who likes the car. :guilty:

I'm sure they will in following states: Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, maybe Utah... lets see, I'm sure there must be couple more..... :D

Obscene? Perhaps.

Acura NSX and Toyota MR2

The next time I go to Cherry Creek I'm going to take a picture of every single 3-series I see, to further illustrate a) how bored I am and b) how rich this place is.

Is Rick seen in the picture anywhere ready to throw a rock at the goon taking photos of his ride? :p

A guy up my block just got one to replace his ~98 Cherokee. They're Republicans, but they've got an Element and a ~98 Sienna. Go figure.

Don't forget Wild and Wonderful West Virginia!!

Middle row, right car. Silver coupe with thin chrome wheels. Had higher output, tougher suspension and GT Silver, unique to the Carrera GT and this model (who the F/// would notice that?) and a special numbered plaque on the dash. 1,983 cars were made, hence it's 40th anniversary 2 years ago. Priced at 89,000$ I think.

I live in Montreal, Canada. Lamborghini territory? We don't even have an authorized Lamborghini dealership within 400 miles from here. We're just cooler than the rest of the world.

Said "Targa" on the back, I noted it. As I said it was a Targa - my favorite 911 and the only non-Cayenne Porsche I like.

Erm, John Scotti rings a bell? He has a few dealerships (Jaguar, Lexus, Land Rover and Subaru) and some sort of big ass, 2 story showroom right next to the Metropolitan highway in St-Leonard. Last time I drove by there was a 40th Anniversary Murcielago on the 2nd floor... He's got Lotuses (Lotii?), Hummers, AMG Benzes, everything except Ferrari and Maserati (that's Luciano's business, or whatever the Ferrari official dealer's name is)

It'll be tough for you to beat four Bentleys (there's a Continental GT in the other thread) and a Challenge Stradale! Not to mention 6 of 10 AMGs! (I saw a CLS55 today but was unable to take a picture - I won't see another for a LONG time)

I also saw a Carrera GT there once and I don't even think Canada gets those so pah! :p
I can probably beat that, I just need to go down to Yorkville on a nice, sunny day so I can see all the rich people show off their cars.

And speaking of the Carerra GT, my friend saw one in Yorkville. He called me to come down, but I just missed it. It was still a kickass day though; with the car spotting we did, you'd think we were in Monaco! I posted the story here, I can link to it if anyone's interested.

I guess you're right then. I still remember the 993 Targas from my first auto show in like 1993 or something, where they had the car upright, showing the glass roof. I thought it was the coolest thing in the whole friggin' universe.

It certainly does ring a bell. Volvo, Land Rover, Subaru, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lotus, an extensive classics and colleciton car inventory as well. I didn't know the new showroom was ready, last time I headed into town by the 40, the showroom wasn't yet usable. They have always had a nice variety of cars over at John Scotti, including that 40th ann. Murcielago they've been showing for a while. All of that carbonfibre trim is fake, which ruins the whole ordeal. I was talking to a friend of mine who has been in the Ferrari Club of Quebec loop for a couple years (was president of the club for some time) and that to get anything done at John Scotti Lamborghini had to be processed through Lamborghini of Toronto, which took forever. I've also been in contact with John Scotti Lotus with updates on the Lotus Elise. I wouldn't be surprised if they had one up here for GP weekend. Ferrari of Quebec is the official Ferrari dealer's name, along with Maserati of Quebec next door off Decarie.

Speaking of Ferrari, the aforementioned Ferrari owner busted out his Testarossa for the first time this season, just yesterday. It's been too long, he said...

Bentley Arnage - the license plate said "ARNAGE"

Poor picture of an Aston Martin DB7 Volante

Ferrari 348

Porsche 356 and Jaguar XKE - at least, I think

More Porsches - at least one and possibly three of those are Turbos. I also saw two new Boxsters and another Turbo but took really bad pictures of them.

Toyota Supra - Turbo or not, you never see these

Mercedes G55 - the story on this one is that I saw it when turning on to the street it was on, then pulled over to let it come near me (without actually knowing if it was a G55). When I saw it was a G55, I started photographing it. I think the driver saw me because he booked it - we were probably doing about fifty in a narrow, one-way, downhill, two-lane 30. I took about ten pictures, and these are the only two where you can even remotely see the badge. But, it's the ninth of ten AMG Mercedes. Now if I could just take a picture of a CLS55...

I'm pretty sure the ferrari is a 355, the jag is a E-type, and i'm not that good on old porsches but the top left is definatly a turbo 👍

The Ferrari's definitely a 348. I don't know about the Jaguar - I was told XKE was the convertible and E-Type is the coupe, but I'm not good with anything before the 1980s. I think the upper left Porsche is a Turbo, possibly the middle left one too and I think the bottom one is as well, but I really have no idea because I'm not a Porsche person.

Yep your right about the 348, but my uncle has the convertable version and he just calls it an E-type.

I think the 964 (second one on the left row) is one of the rare "RS America" model... Only the last one is a true turbo, the first left one looks more like a Carrera2 with a wing.

Exotics are run-of-the-mill here.

Of course, down the street, where the houses are a little bit more expensive, there's a Z8 and an Esprit.....

But, as I said, next time I have the chance, I'm gonna hang out by Rodeo with my camera for a while, I bet I'll see some nice stuff. I can't seem to go there without seeing at least one F550 or F575.

I've seen a few in Cherry Creek - one registered in Vail - but no pictures. I'll admit, they're damn rare (and I'll also admit of the three I've seen two were the same color and I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same vehicle).

Today I saw a 3000GT VR-4 Spyder - rarer than anything in this thread except that Corolla All-Trac - except I didn't have my camera. White, looked like an early one; 95 or 96.

Try the Dodge Charger 500 R/T . 35 world wide!

What the hell? I said "the rarest Toyota of all time" and you edited it. Don't worry though - I can do the same:

Try the Dodge Charger 500 R/T . Six million world wide!

Six million!? That isn't rare! Plus I've heard there's only 35, so I think you should check your stats.

Saw a GLS55 on the weekend. Beat you. Ha-ha.

I didn't have a camera, though...

But have you seen the other nine? :p

They never sold those in U.S.? Ha! those poor suckers...... oh, wait.

Nah, they did, but they only sold about 700 a year for only two years, and most of them are either gone, modded to hell, or in **** condition (this one fell into the latter category).

I thought, I remembered seeing them in magazines. I was starting to think they were right-hand driving imports or something! :scared:
