Did a search couldn't find anything. Just wondering in your opinion what is the most disappointing car or cars in GT5.

I'd say it's anything from Lamborghini, the cars handling is atrocious, even with good tires and tweaks.

Just curious what other members thing...............due chime in

Personally, I don't find any car disappointing in GT5, I find how the tires work is very disappointing, I mean buying 36,000 Credit Soft Slicks doesn't help you stay on the track, what will?

I think the Lambos are nice to drive.
I would say the Veyron. I know it's gonna handle like a brick and it still surprises me every time.

At first it was the gt by Citroen road car because of the initial figures, then i saw it had downforce, tuned it and accessed it was a great...thing.

I do have to say I've never fancied the xj220. Sure it's beautiful, but every time i use it i feel as if i'm one of the original customers of the real life car.

And that's just terrible.

The Lambos are pretty good especially the Super V and the Gallardo. The Muci is a big fat boat and handles like one. But the most disappointing by FAR is the Veryon. Why? Because of all the hype. Nothing in the game has been hyped as much in the real world as the Veryon. Drive it and it's the hugest let down imaginable.

458 stock. When you put racing tires on, it is awesome, saying that, thats the same story with all cars lol

Hm, did the Veyron change alot between GTPSP and GT5?
In GTPSP it was a great car to drive. Don`t know about it in GT5.

But in real life, this car may look/sound bad, but its very fast. 9 tenths faster then a Enzo at TGTT. (Eventhough im sure the Enzo would rape it on the Nordschleife. The Enzo setted a 7:25 with a suspension failure IIRC).

I got 7:19 with stock Veyron on sport hards on Nordschleife (all aids off, MT) - so it's extremly fast.
Many people can't drive it and that's why they talk crap.

the audi R10, it costs 4.750.000 but no where near as fast as the other lmp/group C cars u can get, it was really disappointing, mostly because i used all my money on it at the time :(

That's a good time, but you can beat that with a McLaren F1, a car like 15 years older. And both are on the same "class" of top notch cars when they where released. And you might know that already, seeing the McLaren logo on your avatar.

That's why one would say Veyron sucks. The whole development was focused on making it a straight line killer, which is just a marketing figure. "Good" laptimes are just a side effect of its big muscle.

True, both the Veyron and McLaren F1 were the hypercars of their day. But they're fundamentally different in concept: the Veyron is a massively-powerful luxo-tourer while the F1 is a down-and-dirty full on race car. I never see why they're compared so often...

GT by Citroen Race Car, useless and overpriced.

No, no, no
A) You win it (its free)
B) Its damn quick and has handling to match.

The most dissapointing car (as weve gathered) is the Veyron, whose handling just worsens the state it's in because it's a Standard Car.

The Volvo S60 seems to be running on maple syrup in GT5, it was painfully slow in GT4 as well.

The S60 should take off a lot faster than it does :(

I found it to be pretty quick among it's peers (3 liter saloons; yes I test this kind of stuff), but if by 'running on maple syrup' you're referring to understeer, then I agree fully. It's also one of those cars that feels really nervous without TCS.

Sounds nice, though, with that/those turbo/turbos. 👍

Imagine if it were RWD...

The S60 feels nothing like that in real life, that's what I mean & the simple reason I'm disappointed with it.

Another thing is that they modelled the british version or something, the steering wheel is on the wrong side :P

I'm Swedish, Volvos are one of the most common cars here :D

I know what you mean, that's why I said the whole car was focused "just" on beating the Koennigsegg and the McLaren (previous title holders) for straight line speed, right?
