Real leaderboards. Of course, that's not a option. I don't know what's more disgraceful. The fact that the game doesn't have leaderboards or that apparently most at GTP just don't care.
Leaderboards? Really? All this will do is cause people to exit online races when they aren't winning.

You forgot one...

REMOVE TRADE LIMITS! MAKE IT THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE 1.07!

Not voting until that's added.

I voted "more tracks", but I really need events that make me more money than the lousy cash prices I'm getting today. Dream cars go into the millions and most races don't even get you 100k:nervous: How am I supposed to buy all these cars? Even grinding takes ages:scared:

I also don't like the fact that hot lapping in practice mode doesn't give you exp. points. I spent most of my time doing just that.

Given that the game is STILL not in its launch ready state, I think the appropriate thing to do would be to add the missing features from the box and manual.

Namely, matchmaking and online events with restrictions ala prologue.

Not necessarily faster AI, but more evenly matched AI. If I jump into an event with a 600pp car, all my opponents should fall within 20pp (i.e. some will have slightly higher PP) of me.

More DLC Tracks / Prize car to win if beat "Expert AI"

Nothing on that list is too big of an issue for me. I guess get rid of levels, increase mechanical damage, or add endurance saves.

What I'd really want is more options online and better physics.

Also, this is better

I still don't get this. You're basically just making GT Mode into Arcade Mode. Why not just ask for GT Mode to go away then?

I would vote to Fully support G25/27 Logitech wheels.

Who would vote fix glitching, that annoys me so much.
I have glitched but havent got time to play the game much anymore, done nurb glitch once and wasnt that great.
Why do you care so much its a fricken game, every games has flaws, mario kart is a massive example, anyway get over it.
Give us saves in endurance

Veterans can just underspec their car though. Simple.

Except GT5 makes finding a match exceeding difficult. The real simple answer is difficulty levels.

We'll, we are comparing a shed made car with an ultra luxury car with air conditioner, air bags, navigation, ipod dock, seat massage etc. They are both good and their performance shows it.

It's only one track, and a high speed one at that. And they were run on different days. I'm not convinced that the Bugatti could keep up with a track car in the corners.

Well common sense tells me we will have the ability to save as the most desirable fix. Then i would guess it will be more tracks with more premiums coming in a close 3rd.

I don't see the option to fix the ridiculous slipstream in this game.

I still don't see the option to undo the ridiculous v1.07 trading restrictions.

My number one request is to be able to tune a car from the garage. I hate that I have to leave a race (especially online) to get better tires or add a few hp/pp to match my opponents.
Sure I can set up a few cars for various power restrictions, but my choices are then limited to those cars if I want to compete.
If I could tune a car from the garage I could use any car I want.
Am I the only one who sees this as a major problem?

There's lots of things that could have potentially be on the poll, though. The OP just didn't think of them. Don't accuse GTP as a whole.

I'd like to not have to paint the entirety of GTP but it fits. Look at this thread, only one other response to my post and it's from a guy who doesn't even really understand what I'm talking about.

Even Sonic All Star racing had online lap time leaderboards. Every other half credible online racing game in the world has them. But GT5 nope. And evidently most everyone here at this supposed big GT site is content writing their times down (the few who might actually run laps that is) with pen and paper and comparing them to their friends over the phone. Because there certainly is no uproar about it. Now, if Johnny Glitcher figures out a way to get a few credits easy, then GTP goes to war. :scared:

Out of those, more premiums. I'm surprised it isn't the leading choice in the poll. Around 750-800 cars are PS2 or PSP ports and look like crap.

Voted "turn up mechanical damage", actually, turn it ON for A-spec races. Turn it on as an option, so us gearheads can truely get our racing fix

Visual damage is a moot point. The car manufacturers themselves dictate how extensive visual damage can be. They don't want too much because they think it will damage their (giggle) safety image. I would like to see more visual damage for some actual racing cars, though, as NASCAR and other series races are allowed to have more visual damage in other racing games (other than Gran Turismo that is).

Also voted to save during series and endurance races, and this idea above (saving during pits only) is great for immersion. After all, driver changes only happen during pit stops IRL.

Totally agree with amping up A-spec with options for damage, penalties, weather changes, and all the race regulations from online lobbies. Also, change the rewards when using them. Give us more cr/xp when we use lower powered cars with the same tires as the AI. Give less cr/xp when using higher powered cars with r/s tires.

1. More tracks

2. Faster AI. Or at least add AI difficulty options.

👍
3. Save in the middle of endurance races

adding ff and rwd in replays should be easy to put in

Have you seen the standards thread ?
alot of standards look just as good as other racers out
so its not really a problem
Tho there are some thats horrendous

Yeah some do look better from a distance (driving camera) but they're still lacking. Of course having all 1,000+ cars look photorealistic is asking for too much, but many of the standards deserve to be premium (Veyron, LMP cars, etc.).

I ticked AI but I would argue that we need more intelligent AI, not just faster AI. And they need to patch those god forsaken collision sounds.

Other than that, more cars and tracks :).

Come to think of it, it would be nice if PD would up the trading limit a bit, to around 5 million Cr. So you would really have to earn the most expensive race cars in the game but still enough to be able to borrow or gift much more cars.

Being able to race with friends without someone getting disconnected or turned invisible.

That's because leaderboards are not necessary. Personally I find that leaderboards always end up topped up with cheaters, they often create a greater degree of general negativity, and they affect how people choose to play online. Right now people can play online without a record of their history being criticized by people or them bragging endlessly. One reason I chose to spend a lot more time playing GT5 online instead of shooters was the great relaxation that there was: I can count the number of times I have heard "noob" on one hand on GT5 online; while you will hear it, and many worse comments, dozens of times an hour on other games where the kiddies play for stats. The lack of stats clearly keeps online more enjoyable and more adult orientated than it might otherwise be. AND if you are so obsessed with comparing yourself to others, see how fast you are in the timie trials. GT5 is way better without leaderboards.

I'm talking about a pre-1.07 system (unlimited value and possibility of multi-account duping).

The problem is that the Veyron really doesn't handle worth a crap, so every single post that's ever been made that criticizes the Veyron for it's poor performance are right on the mark. Air conditioning, air bags, iPod docks, and all that crap are nice but they don't mean great track performance. The Veyron might be great for a creature-comfort-mobile, but not in terms of track performance. Nobody is criticizing the Veyron for lack of creature comforts but for inability to corner as well as other high-end cars.

The Veyron's poor cornering abilities speak for themselves. When you take into consideration that the thing has anywhere from "more horsepower" to "way, way more horsepower" and a much higher top speed than other cars at the top of the Power Board, the Veyron really should be beating the competition by several seconds and not by just fractions of a second, let alone being beaten by cars, especially as in the case with the base Veyron.

So, if the Veyron has so much power, such a high top speed, and rapid acceleration, why does it not beat the other top-performing cars by several seconds? The obvious answer is that it loses in the corners. Underperfoming in the corners is where people criticize it, and every single post that anybody has ever made about the matter have always been right on the mark. It really does suck in corners. Rather than being beaten by the Ariel Atom 500 by almost two full seconds and only barely beating cars like the Gumpert Apollo or Ascari A10 by less than half a second, the Veyron Super Sport really should be beating them all by several seconds. It doesn't because it's a wagon-load of turds in corners.

Let's also not forget that the Power Board actually excludes several non-race cars because of nitpicky things like not sitting high enough to drive over a "sleeping policeman", and these cars also beat the Veyron Super Sport by several seconds, despite having less power and lower top speeds. The difference is cornering ability, and the Veyron undeniably lacks it.

Defending the Veyron as being a super-fast creature-comfort vehicle with comfy seats, stereo, sat-nav, and so forth doesn't change the fact that it still performs poorly in corners, relative to other supercars that perform in more ways than just top-end speed.

Undoubtedly giving us endurance races saves. Spending four hours on a TV is enough for me, I can't go beyond that, that's incredibly unhealthy.

Numbers speak for themselves, #2 and #9 specifically, it also would be the heaviest car in the top 20.

Whay about online lobbies. Have sections like the seasonal events except you race people online
