Motegi Shuffle Races not paying out

Ok, so right now, me and 2 friends are in my lobby. We have done 2 races so far and neither have paid out..... Has anybody else noticed this, or could this be a one off?
 
I'll try to check it out when I get the PS3. Right now the family is using the TV.
 
We have done another 3 races since I posted the message above, and none of those have paid out either.......

You know now that you say something we ran Ferrari F1 cars around the road course the other night.. 5 laps and nothing paid.. Same with 5 laps in Karts around the short track :s I just thought maybe it was just me though :s
 
I've only ran about a dozen or so races at Motegi speedway online and none of them paid. I'm surprised that you all are just now discovering this. I'm also surprised that a patch hasn't been made since it's a track that cost extra money.

Small bugs like these just prove that they do little testing before releasing updates.
 
I had the same problems when I raced formula gts at the speedway
 
I race with a group and we have an upcoming race at the road course and have been testing for about 3 weeks and not one race have we received credits or experience points.
 
It's good to know we weren't the only ones affected last night! Is there any particular way of making this known to PD so it can be sorted?
 
I did an 40 lap race with mates a few weeks back, we didn't get anything either which surprised us.

Come on. Don't be so picky. Our best bet is to keep these kinds of topics on forums relevant. "TOO MANY SKYLINES" type threads are easier to keep repeating, but doesn't do much after that millionth time.
 
I've never been paid for racing at Motegi and have been surprised by the lack of mention of it here and by PD.
 
This has been like this since the release of DLC. We have tried everything but no matter what utopia will not be paid.

You have to admit that a proper beta test should have squashed this simple bug before release. This is the second time this year that payouts have gotten screwed up one way or another. I can understand if someone get frustrated because of this fact.
 
Has anyone thought of sending Kaz a tweet to let him know about the problem? That could be the best way of getting it addressed quicker.

I have to say, that for the amount of time the track has been out, I too am surprised that nobody else brought it up sooner...... Or is this a subtle hint at just how few GTPlanet members bought Motegi DLC?

Without having to dounble post to reply to everybody (on GTP app), I would tweet Kaz, but I dont understand how you send messages via twitter, so will leave it to the professionals lol!

I get that 👍. My choice of words wasn't the best.

Ideally, nothing will ever need fixing or adjusting. Pointing out that they're slow to react to this when there are tons of more problems and problems that IDEALLY shouldn't have existed in the first place seems pointless. If I'm not mistaken, they HAVE to fix it through an update, and I recently found out that there's a fee that needs to be paid after the first two updates that get released.

PD's done a number of these kind of quick fix updates and people were even frustrated with those.

All developers for consoles are required to pay a fee to have their game updates checked & uploaded to the XBL & PSN servers for us to download. Rumour has it, it cost more than $40,000 per update.

Developers get their 1st game updates uploaded for free, after that Sony and MS want their cash for every update that follows. All developers for PC never have to pay a charge for game updates.

It's worth mentioning, that there really isn't much information as to whether first-party developers have to pay these fee's. If anyone can point me in that direction of that info I'll gladly read it, but really why would you charge yourself $40,000? because by charging your 1st-party developers essentially that is what you are doing. PD is a 1st developer.

Almost a month and a half has gone by and still no fix...

You know what's disappointing? I was a DLC holdout so Motegi was my first DLC purchase. I mainly bought it for the oval track because we've been wanting a shorter oval. Now that I/we have it it has a bug that should have be fixed long ago.

I wish they would have done the free trial period when they released Motegi. Perhaps more people would have bought it but as it stands your lucky to find one or two rooms (US server) open for the oval track. Not getting paid credits also doesn't help the matter.
 
I hardly ever race online but I did when I got Motegi as I thought it's the only way I can earn money on the track. I started to think GT must differ from Forza and that you couldn't earn any money for races online.

Glad to know it's a bug, but upset it hasn't been fixed.
 
Still not paying out. The league i run in just had one of our races there with no payout...
 
Motegi has never paid out since its inception into the game, its also the only track in the track list that is spelled entirely in lower case letters, I thought they would have fixed it by now, but clearly they have not,
 
The fact they have yet to fix a simple but important bug for a DLC track really ticks me off. It's been 2 months for god's sake 🤬.

PD will not be getting any more easy money from me. "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me."
 
With regards to the way it was added to the list (only noticed it online, as i dont use practice mode)

I hate the way they are listed. Why can't they all be lije so:

Twin Ring Motegi - East Course
Twin Ring Motegi - West Course
Twin Ring Motegi - Road Course
Twin Ring Motegi - Speedway

It takes me bloody ages to find them because of their poor implemention. I accept the fact they are listed by circuit length, but thats no excuse in my eyes
