Sweet. I think we need a game that's more along the lines of GT though. Being able to race street bikes that we can modify mechanically and visually. I think we need a Real Driving Simulator on two wheels.

Graphics look great, but then they always did. Let's hope the way the bikes handle is improved. Did anyone buy #3? How was it?

I wasn't impressed with 3. For some reason 2 seemed better. Took my forever to track down 3 too. Wasn't worth the trouble in my opinion.

I played the MotoGP 2 demo that came with XBox Live, or was it just MotoGP ... anyway, it was freaking awesome! I might have to pick this up on PS2 (:

You know it´s not the same game right? MotoGP2 for Xbox is from THQ, while the MotoGP series on PS2 is made by Namco. The Xbox version is better IMO. The graphics are much better, the handling is more realistic and playing online on Xlink was damn fun!

But I liked MotoGP3 on the PS2 also, really good game. I played it a lot for about a week or two, and then never touched it again. I hope 4 to be improved upon the others, instead of being just one more MotoGP game.

Riding Spirits comes pretty close.

They are making a moto gp3 for xbox, but as noted above, they are not the same game series. And yet gamespot still thinks they are. If you have an xbox, the motogp series from thq/climax is definitely worth checking out.

Yes.. By far the best riding simulator** out there. Available for the PC as well... Loads of fun laying down a thick layer of rubber exiting turns - not to mention the straight long wheelies and massive stoppies 👍

** are we allowed to use the word "simulator" when discussing a game ?....

MotoGp2 handles good, but I wouldn´t call it a simulator. It´s not that difficult to win races, and when you are on a straight and gas it up, they put a blur effect and the camera goes far away from the bike, I don´t know, that just look very unrealistic.

But still the best MotoGP game out there.

Ever been on a bike at 270km/h + ?....

Tunnelvision happens - not as extreme as in the game, but it's there ;)
