Very stupid of Petter - he was lucky that not only he hit the pole instead of one of the photographers - but also that the pole didn't land on top of one of them!
Very reckless driving if he really was intentionally putting his foot down to keep going.
I have to ask: what on earth was he thinking? For one, he had to know that the corner was coming up when he went off, but he just went straight over the road. And it's not like the stage went down around a hairpin and started coming back near that pole. It looks like he had a complete brainfart, and the end result was one of the most bizarre accidents I've ever seen.

I've heard talk that Ford won't offer him a contract extension for 2013. With stupidity like this, you can understand why that might be.

Sadly its stuff like this plus the complete inconsistency from Loeb's rivals that make me question their ability than the Ford or Citroen's relative pace.

I still think none of these drivers are as good as Loeb. Only Ogier is good enough.

Mads Ostberg might be in a few years, but he needs some work. Especially on tarmac. And when Tanak gets it together, he's very good, but the team keep on retiring the car to take advantage of mechanical rules.

I wouldn't be surprised if Loeb takes a tenth title next year, even if he only does a half season. That would be a moment worthy of inclusion in this thread.

Brasil Formula Truck. Brake fail, nasty crash.

Driver Diumar Bueno:
2 legs, 1 arm broken. And a cut tongue...

OUCH

Much worst than last time he lost his brakes got litterally taken out by someone elses' brake fail, and walked away...

So basically he went off the road and laneded on a house roof? :odd:

Shed roof, it's important. Amazing really, the entire building is basically the same size as the car.

Also, I'm not sure if the following is a repost. It looks familiar:

Look at the yellow car getting t-boned hard by a car pushed by another car! It's at 0;09 and 0;29. His spinning team mate actually indirectly caused that..

Our beloved DeltaWing taking a tumble, scary how close his head gets to the ground.
Still gestures at the other driver though  Typical racer!

Wow close, typical porsche driver too

TBH I don't think the Porsche was at too much fault, it just looks like he lost traction on the curb and slid? If you look from 48, you can see he's recovering, turning to the left.

+1 👍

Trikes will roll. Didn't look very safe...
(Yes, I know technically it's a 4 wheeler)

Come on.. That isn't even funny anymore.

You can actually hear his helmet scrape the ground though, scary stuff..

Wasn't trying to be but seen maybe porsche drivers being pushy and sliding. Didn't look good on the neck though, especially on the bumps, but looked ok. +1 for Delta Design for rear fins.
