I love that it was on Tsukuba! A small track for small cars....and it took them 1 minute and a half to complete a single lap...man those things are slow.

So, you guys remember last year, when Gunter Schaldach had that impressive over-the-wall crash at Road America last year in Grand Am? Well, this year, at Road America, Pombo lost his brakes and slammed into the tire barrier...so two years in a row, someone has lost their brakes in Grand-Am...I think that shows you how much punishment the brakes take on this course:

OUCH!

Jesus, was that dude alright after all that?

Just looks mega painful...

He suffered a concussion, broken cervical and a broken nose, but he's fine, otherwise. Mark's crash was the worst of that weekend, but there were several cars having braking issues that day. Aren't you glad Forza doesn't simulate brake failure and brake fade?

She. At least she didn't land upside-down.

Less lucky was Manor Fabiano Machado, who was involved in a separate accident and was in so much pain after it that he needed the medical crew to help get him out of the car. I haven't seen a video of that crash online, yet.

Her full name is Vittoria Piria, and she's Italian. The only Russian in the GP3 field is Dmitry Suranovich, who was involved in that nastly collsion with Conor Daly at Monaco.

Strangely enough, there are three female drivers in this year's GP3 Seires - Piria, Alice Powell and Carmen Jorda. Jorda is widely considered to be out of her league, but of the three girls, she is the only one to have avoided the accident (probably because she was so far back that she could easily take evasive action).

Well the F3s are so close that it's like Talladega, one clips another and half the field gets taken out.

Seemed like the only drivers in that field that knew how to defend without screwing up were 1st and 2nd place...still some good moves and very aggressive and ballsy ones too!
Half of those drivers either didn't defend, screwed up or were just plain slow braking far too early. But its certainly not easy to do that even so!

It seems like he's racing against GT5's AI drivers

Impressive driving!: tup:

That's pretty much what I was thinking when watching but it reminded me of playing GRID. None of the other drivers defended, they just moved out of the way and let him pass through :dopey:. Still impressive to watch.
