GT_BeatWell, I guess no one is going to confirm nor deny my answer, so here is the next question. What is the fastest lap record (race or qualifying) for a GT car at Laguna Seca Raceway? This is for full body GT class cars, no Daytona Prototype-style cars, no open-wheel cars (Indy or Champ). For extra credit, give name of driver, car, and race.
Make this more fun, take a GT car to Laguna Seca in whichever race/formatt desired, and try to beat the real-life lap record.
Diego440on the other hand... why is British Racing Green green? Why isn't British Racing blue, or red, or yellow, or purple with green dots and black stripes?
Diego440it's been more than a week... I don't think anyone's going to get it
daanBerger was usually 28, but I saw this photo and assumed he must have had 27 at some point.

I didn't realise that's not Berger in the car. (I thought he was just using a different helmet style for some reason)
Diego440Speaking of bumps... any chance we could revive this thread?
RooHeh... I thought exactly the same thing yesterday, but didn't have time to post here.
What was unusual about the pitstops of the 1913 Indy 500 winner? Bonus point if you can tell me what was odd about the second-placed car when it crossed the line.

StingHe drank champpers (champagne) during his pit stop. Don't know about the second placed car.
Roo1st win from pole at the Indy 500; the car - a Duesenberg/Miller - was the same car that won that year's Le Mans 24hrs.
Edit: Hang on, the first 24 hour race at Le Mans wasn't until 1923But it did win a race at Le Mans.
RooTrying to be too smart for my own good, that's my trouble
Antonio Ascari's Alfa Romeo, whilst leading, broke down how many yards from the end of the 268-mile 1924 Targo Florio? (I'll accept within 5 either way.)
Diego440I have it as 100 metres... which would make it about 109 yards
