I'm a great fan of Touring cars and, more than often than not, run any Touring cars I find in video games I play. In GT5, for instance, I have two of every DTM vehicle, and obsessively run the 'Ring in them.
As for BTTC, IRL, I wish I had more time to check out the races - I believe the series begins in less than a month. Touring cars run some of my favourite course.
As for the answers - damn, I'm waiting.
The wildest stab I could take is . . . some car involved with Honda. Or Porsche?
No head for stats like this . . ..
The Accord.
Toyota Carina 1991?

Correct! The unique Volvo 850 SE/GLT was negated by the subsequent aerodynamic changes for 1995.

My knowledge of BTCC and european touring cars from that era is quite limited (it was pretty hard to get information, let alone coverage, up here in Canada back in those days), and the information or coverage you can find of the STC era nowadays is still somewhat sparse...
There was a development RWD Mondeo built by ARE in 1993, but I'm not sure it even made it past the testing days at it was majorly off the pace.
1994 Ford Mondeo.
Does not count. They decided to go for FWD so that is what was raced. But a good guess. Not a lot of people will have known that a RWD BTCC Mondeo existed.
Nope.

I'm positive that the first Mondeo to race in the BTCC was rear wheel drive.
I remember reading an Autosport report about it. The jist of it was that a car must use the same drive system as the road car but a four wheel drive version could go either front or rear wheel drive. The article pointed out that the race version had a drive type that no road Mondeo you could buy shared.
Ford Mondeo?
Honda Integra Type R from 2000, and Ford Focus from same year in Class B.
BMW 318i?
