What gift did the Italian Motor Nautical Federation send to which driver who crashed out of the lead the Monaco GP in 1955.

Name the driver and the gift.

Ascsri crashed into the harbour in 1955. Unsure if it was from the lead of the race.

Was it a pair of armbands?

It was a Life Jacket - - but arm bands are close enough.

Sadly Alberto Ascari died just a few days later, discharging himself from Hospital to test drive at Monza.

In 1978 during a Formula 3 race at Circuit X, Driver A collided with driver B causing driver B to break his back. Driver B had previously broken his neck during a qualifying session at Circuit Y during the 1977 Formula Ford season.

Identify the unknowns Circuits "X" & "Y", Drivers "A" & "B".

Is Circuit X Cadwell Park, and Driver A Nelson Piquet?

Driver A was Andrea De Cesaris
Circuit X, Oulton Park?

Right, you are!

Your turn, since SVT got 2 right but he guessed 1 wrong.

And for the bit of bonus trivia, Mansell nearly became a quadriplegic after the neck breaking crash at Brands Hatch, but he scored his first ever Formula 1 victory there :D:tup:

Another helmet question, which F1 podium finisher had this skid lid?

If I "like" your post, it means it was correct.

F1 is full of interesting driver stats... as of the German Grand Prix of 2016...
Which current driver has the most ______ ?

A German driver leads that category.
Jenson Button just edges out second place

Helpful Head to Heads

Kimi beats out Lewis
Palmer beats the struggling Alonso
Felipe beats Felipe (Nasr over Massa!)
Nico Rosberg beats Sebby Vettel
Magnussen beats the consistent Perez.

Name the stat and which driver is top of the heap.

Positions lost on the first lap, headed by Rosberg?

Sorry No - Almost running out of German drivers...(I've already said someone is better than Sebby V so...) The Top guy in this stat is Nico Hulkenberg -

3rd place is a 6 way tie. The usual suspects for third place are...
Ericsson, Grosjean, Gutierrez, Kvyatt, Ricciardo and Verstappen

Sorry no.
A bit of historical head to head
Nelson Piquet would lose to Lewis Hamilton
Lewis would lose to Ayrton Senna-
Massa would beat Alain Prost
Jenson would beat Nigel Mansell - however both would lose to Damon Hill
Rio Haryanto would beat Jacques Villeneuve
