I was going to hard mount them when I received them. After having them a few days I decided I didn't need to as they were heavy enough to remain stable. I have had them since october and I am still happy with them as they are.

When I had the WSP Deluxe, the Fanatec version came with 4 plates and 4 long hex screws. I think the CSR pedals (both versions) have a longer base than the CSPs, but you shouldn't have a problem mounting them. They just might sit closer by a couple of inches. The way it hard-mounts to the WSP is by clamping strength.

csr elites came today and done it with 4 tie wraps plenty sturdy enough.! these are my first load cell brakes is it normal for the brake pedal not to have
much physical resistance,is it cause im used to the spring on the g25's ??

so you havent hard mounted them at all to the wsp?

No I haven't, I don't feel the need to as they are heavy enough to remain stable and not move while racing:tup:

As for the CSR Elite brake pedal, mine was very stiff when I first started to use it, after time though the resistance isn't as strong which is normal if this is what you are wondering.

+1 on them being heavy. i didnt hardmount mine either but i do have them butted up against my tv entertainment center, even though i dont think they would slide around anyways. nice to know the pedal softens with age. mine is new and really firm and i was wondering that same thing myself. it doesnt need much, just a fraction more give then it would be perfect.

I would say there is a fairly significant difference once you have been using the pedals for a while. When I first started using them I found I had to be quite aggressive with the brake pedal on GT5 to get the desired amount of braking. I think this helped them ware in a bit quicker but they certainly feel more natural now.

I also have mine up against TV unit but like you think they wouldn't move as the back of the WSP is more than enough to keep them steady:tup:

cheers peeps, mine are used so that would explain that. managed to get them for a reasonable price. a good bit cheaper than new from fanatec
