Download here

The above download allows one to view how far their mouse travels in a day/week/month. You can even compare it to the distance on the Golden Gate Bridge!

It is only 2.2meg, so give it a whiz...

*EDIT : I am pretty confident that it works off the mouse pointer moving around the screen, so optical mice and touch pads should also work 👍
 
It tracks the distance your mouse ball travels (and your clicks), but predominantly the former.

That is a very good question. I suppose it would work with optical mice too, because it relies on the sensor tracking the motion of the mouse ball.

EDIT: It doesnt say that is exclusively for ball-type mice, but it doesnt say it works for optical ones either 👎

If you do install it and want to uninstall it, exit the actual program - click the icon on the task bar, and then goto add/remove programs to delete it.

I really dont know Kikko. As long as the mouse pointer on the screen is moving it should work. I think it operates off the pointer moving on the screen cos the setup asks for your screen size.

Exactly my thoughts. Why would it care about screensize otherwise?

I installed this at work, and have pushed it almost 12 miles. Seems I go about 3/4 mile a day.
