Movie Player Screenshots

How do you take screenshots of movies you are playing? Im trying to make some theme avatars but my screenshots end up like this....

u could make it full screen and then take a scr cap that is what i did but i think i used windows media player or a dvd player program i hope this helps

It won't show up for me either. You need a third party program if you're having that problem.

Also, maybe he just wasn't familiar with the terminology.

You have to disable the Video Acceleration option in the players. When you want to take a pic, disable it. When you're play videos, enable it.

well the only way i could make it work was to make a screenshot, paste it, then take another screenshot and paste it. its a little wierd.

In WMP 9:

Tools > Options > Performance > Move the slider under Video Acceleration down to None > Apply. When you're finished with taking pics, move it back to Full Acceleration.

Because the video for Points of Authority remix is all CG and it kind of looks like that.
