MS Sidewinder Wheel in GT4... Possible ?

Got my game this morning... not had a chance to play it yet as I'm in college all day... Just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to attach a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro wheel to the PS2 and use it in GT4. Its USB hence why I'm asking... maybe it'll pick it up I don't know.

Reason I'm asking is I have one of these wheels for the PC... good wheel, works ok to my liking and it would rock if I could use it to drive in GT4. Plus seeing as I'm a student and have no income I can't afford to splash out right now on the fancy new GT one for the PS2.

Thanks in Advance to all who reply.

Any info appreciated.

Yeh, I also have this wheel, the force feedback one with green grips on the side, not the one with red grips. But it's USB.. So in theory it should work, just maybe not with forcefeed back.

Surprising you'd expect it to at least have the functionality of a standard driving force.

Milesprower - if you want to be able to use a wheel on GT4 you could try and EbaY your sidewinder and then get a standard driving force i uased one in prologue and it was god enough have since got a DFP though . Logitech USB wheels can also be used on PC so your'e probably not losing anything.

search for black beauties in the photo gallery thread. Basically they are the R390GT1 toyota GTOne Mazda 787B and something i can't remember but in black without any decals on them.

Try it if you like. The Sidewinder didn't work in GT3, and fewer wheels work with GT4 than worked with GT3.

Well that ****ing sucks... I could get a cheap ass wheel for £15 from GAME, but I want one with force feedback... And maybe one with a proper 6 speed gearbox and a clutch pedal like that F355 Arcade game.
