MTV Slips WTF!!

When zapping tv yesterday i tumbled upon this:

The idea would be actually cool, but the execution is ridiculous (as always on mtv.
Hosted by some wanna be tuners gangsta playa types, this show tops pimp my Ride by a mile.

did someone seen that horrible show yet. Is it still running (saw it on german mtv, they're always late...)

Yes I have seen it, calling it terrible would be an understatement. The 'mechanics' think a fart can, a horrible paint job, BIG RIMS and tyres will give you a huge performance boost, the host is so annoying and the kind of the contestants it attracts, well the first and last episode I ever watched had a couple of chavs who thought they were great drivers, a Citroen Saxo and some other chavvy crapbox which were both hurrendously 'upgraded'.👎

They even have a spin-off of it called Pinks:All-Out where they do bracket racing.

I've seen an equivalent of Pinks as well. It's called Slips, and it's pure crap. I guess though that the reason these chavs racers are driving these crapbuckets is because if they lose all they ever lost was something they saw in the small ads section of their local newspaper selling for £100. A fart can exhaust, an air filter from a vacuum cleaner and lowering the ride height with jack 🤬 else is not going to turn these piece of crap Fiat Puntos into Evo killers. I've watched a few races, but the only edge Slips has over Pinks is that it's on a circuit, not a drag strip.
