Multimedia Keyboard "Hotkey" Remapping

Like the title says, I have a multimedia keyboard, and I'd like to associate the hotkeys to specific actions. Right now, only some of the keys work, and of those that do, many don't have the action I would want them to have.

The drivers that came with the keyboard suck. They really dont allow me to do this. The keyboard is actually meant for Macs.

Is there some sort of universal windows utility that would let me do this?

Hmmm, I've only ever had an IBM Rapid Access II Keyboard, which actually has 5 programmable buttons that'll open any program you choose. But I got the driver from the IBM site when I transferred the keyboard to my new computer...
