OK....I apologize in advance for my stupid question......here it goes. I've never raced an endurance race (but want to soon), but I dabbled tonight with my first "longer"'race when I ran my Bspec in the Expert Level GT Series event (Fuji). My first question is.....do I really need multiple "Bob's" in a longer race like this (30 laps)? My gut answer is "yes" because my first driver (level 21) had lost all strength and mental strength by lap 18 or so. However, I've heard people on this board exclaim that multiple drivers aren't really needed. So....what's the real answer? If it would have helped to switch drivers, how do I do it? Do I have to pit to switch drivers or is there another way? In that 30 lap Fuji race, none of the other cars pitted, so that would have surely put me in last place.
Regarding pitting......my second question is how do I set up automatic pitting? Some of these guys who set there Bspec to run an endurance race while they sleep surely have some way of auto pitting, yet, I never saw the option during my 30 lap Fuji expert BSpec race. Any help would be welcome!
