Murciélago is considered old school now? A Countach or the Miura sure... both are in GT5 as well.

The last of the lambos that are not afraid to kick your 🤬 if you screw up.. See?

Nice videos, the LP 670-4 looks beautiful as it makes it ways around the course. The Aventador looks like it had to be driven like a sledgehammer, so much tire screeching made me cut the video short. Another thing that Aventador isn't very handsome either, uncharacteristically ugly for a Lamborghini as well. Wished PD would have gotten their hands on the Diablo GTR :). I haven't driven the Aventador but I might get to in sometime in the future. I'll stick with the Murcielago for now and the Gallardo.

x2...I don't think the Murci can be considered "old school" by any stretch of the term.

Am I the only one that absolutely hates the look of this car? It's just ugly.

It isn't conventionally attractive like the Miura but more like the original Countach, only a new modern take on that angular wedge theme which incorporates elements taken straight from modern fighter planes.

I like it, this is how a Lamborghini should look, not the neutered look Chrysler decided the Diablo should look like (the original proposal looked more like the Cizeta, both designed by Gandini) and I'm glad Audi has found the right balance between the famous angular wedge shapes of the past and making it current again without becoming pastiche or resorting to the garish and vulgar look of the eighties.
Now bring on the Estoque (love that concept).

Also the last that was at least partly overseen by Signor Lamborghini himself, I believe? Or was it just the last pre-Audi model?

EDIT: My bad, that was the Diablo. Aww I want the Diablo in GT5!

Nah, he wasn't involved personally with Lamborghini cars anymore for years and years before he died, he focussed on his vineyard and making a Lamborghini golfcart amongst other things.

Hmm I thought he still had some involvement in the early stages of the Diablo, I stand corrected though!

By the way, I feel a kinda party pooper saying this but the Miura and Countach LP400 are so very wrong in GT5, both cars are far too light as discussed in previous threads, the Miura prototype in reality had no engine and only the later models such as the SV nudged 180MPH, also the Countach (probably due to being too light) is far too fast in GT5.

Though there is some argument that the very early models were very quick, performance figures for the Countach were often a little overstated and its contemporary the 512BB was actually the quicker car at the time. The best all-round Countachs were probably the QV and 5000S, kinda a shame that PD included the first and last, but not the best.

At first glance I was keen, but it's growing on me. That sharpe line from front to back is amazing. And the rear section looks like armour plates. It might not drive like a crazy hypercar, but it has the pantomime looks of one.

although I went on a spending spree and bought 20 aventadors to paint a bunch of different colors, I hate the way it handles. Murcielago>Aventador

Are we all ready here to switch the vs. topic? I did see the other lambo thread and this one is pretty redundant.
