Mascle Car Challenge at El Capitan

RULES:

Cars: Muscle cars up to 1971
No Vette's, Cobra's, and Buick special
All mods but no NOS or wings
Tires S3 or lower
No Driving AIDS
All Standard OLR guidelines

Well, here she is.....a forest green metallic 70' Chevelle SS 454, yeah, I remember this one from back in 'the day'. Nascar doesn't like making 'right' turns....this baby doesn't like making turns at all. Smokin' them in a straight line is what this iron is all about.

I battled this 'traction challenged' beast for three laps just to get one good lap....I'll be back after I send this dog to obedience school.

Splits were:32.299/1:12.341 I'll try to refine this car some tomorrow.
 
Very fun challenge! I love these combos where you have to be very gentle with the throttle...even though I'm not very good at it.

1'49.323 / Dodge Charger Super Bee 426 Hemi / 716hp / S3's / mullen_power

1'51.822 / Shelby Mustang G.T 350R / 496hp / S2's / mullen_power

I didn't realise I was running the Stang on Sport Mediums until I checked my replay, so I might try again on S3's next time.

Got a few laps done with the Shelby Mustang on S3's earlier today, not happy with the time but it will do for now.

tried this nice challenge in the r/t and the charger 350 but without the tcs i'm chanceless and hopeless tho el cap is my ultimate favvie track. if you might consider, sti, to make a separate class for tcs users then i'm in :)
 
Hi Fella's....It appears I have found a lil bit more in the tank of the Mustang!:D

(Power stat taken from Garage classification, Replay says 477 BHP).

^Grip levels leave something to be desired lol, but thats what makes this Car great fun to drive.
I don't have a racing system on GT350 because it sounds heaps better without it!! :D
