Ok, I'll reply in a simpler way:
How many " muscle" cars do I want in GT4 ?
0, zero, nil, zip

If you want muscle cars, convince Electtronic Arts to release a game for that serie.
I like the rally part of GT, but I wouldn't mind if they remove it in order to make room for more touring, super touring or sport proto series, like American Le Mans.

As has already been said, GT is about having a diverse selection of cars. Just because you don't want muscle cars in GT4 doesn't mean that everyone else doesn't, if you don't like the car, THEN DON'T DRIVE IT, it isn't like you're being forced to drive it. With 700+ cars in the game, I sure you can find a few that you like.

kids these days have no respect for muscle cars......

to add to my earlier list
6.'70 HEMI'Cuda
7.'91 Camaro IROC-Z(think they made one that year)
8.'70 Challenger
9. Studebaker Avanti(some people might not call this a muscle car but its still cool)
10.AMX or Javelin

eh??

Not entirely correct. I'm 16 and not only do I respect muscle cars, I want one badly even though there's no chance I can get one for a while. Been wishing they had REAL muscle cars in GT.

Obviously it does not go for every kid out there, but most are biased, and they thing muscle cars are ****ty, and import cars pwn. Hey, I'm not saying they don't pwn, but I'd rather have a muscle car.

Wow, you come into a Muscle car thread and say **** like that? 👎

I respect all cars because they are great, I may not like certain cars (eg im not a great porsche fan like everyone else) but I have a great respect for them and would love to see them in GT4. Same with Volkswagon.

Biased turkey is not a true car enthuisist, car enthuisists dont snob there noses at other car types just because they dont like them

Well said, nemesis! I am 14 and I, too, love the American Muscle Car. Besides the point, if you wreck an import and a muscle car 25 mph into a wall, you will not total a muscle car. (Or get killed for that matter, either.)

I respect mainly all cars and I respect muscle cars for their power, sound and desirability (aka looks) but I don't see the point of them in a racing game, they handle like JCB's and turn just as well, however with the new drag mode being authenticated now, I suppose they would be right at home there, but the only roads US Muscle's are good on are straights, sorry but it's true. Still have major respect for these cars but not as racers.

I think I speak for the majoity here when I say you lack intelligence, you don't comprehend what the GT series is all about, and your being a retard.

well put. muscle cars are much stronger than crappy, brittle, fragile imports 👍

Slow down and slip yourself into neutral, the last things this thread wants is an imports vs domestic's flame war. There are some good US and US muscle cars and some not as good, some good Japanese cars and some not as good and some good European cars and some not as good.

it already seems like its getting there

besides that im not tryin to be biased towards muscle cars. there are imports that i do respect
supras.
3000gts
s2000
wrx
300zx
350z
skyline (OVERRATED ****)
cars that i give the benefit of the doubt

Yep they are all good cars (including the Skyline which is praised too much sometimes) I'm glad to see your not a biased man.

Have to agree. It's amazing, whenever a muscle car shows up in the school parking lot, even the ricers are drooling over it. Amazingwhat the growl of a V-8 can do.

muscle cars have the powerful agressive-even-when-parked-looked

plus nothing compares to the sound of a v8

i love both types of cars for different reasons, but calling Imports "fragile" is really harsh.

i've seen quite a few unmodified imports flat out kill some unmodified Muscle cars, and i've seen some heavily modified Imports kill some heavily modified Muscle cars (and by muscle cars, i don't mean FOX body Mustangs, i mean Challengers, Chevelles, GTOs, etc.)

i know all you muscle car fans will hate me for saying this, or try to disprove it, but i'd seen it done:

Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R:
RB26DETT (aka. 2.6L Twin Cam, Twin Turbo, I6)
Stock (on Paper): 276HP
Stock (on Dyno): 320HP
Mild Modifications(no internals): 500-550HP
Mild Modifications(w/ internals): 800-900HP
heavy Modifications:1000-2000HP

the engine has been called Godzilla, and the 350 of Japan

i see were your going with that. like i said before though it is a very respectable car. i mean the engine has amazing potential

the power of a fully modded skyline is comparable to a lingenfelter corvette

How much boost do Skylines have?

beats me. modded i think like 20 to 24 pounds (from what ive seen on videos)
\

How much do you think it would make without the turbo, but added compression ratio?

1.5KG/CC whatever that equals out to in lbs

How much do you think it would make without the turbo, but added compression ratio?

probably 50 more horsepower(or maybe it takes away) with alot of turbo lag scince high compression pistons don't match with forced induction engines

unless you increase displacement
