Yo, silviadrifter! Maybe you and me can start a band or something :dopey:  . And then xsyorra can sing for us, Halford-style! \m/

Forget it, I'm probably waaay over my alcohol limit...:dopey:

I've been lead singer in a couple bands (Lamb of God mixed with a little Tool style....I guess.), so maybe I could do that, and Xsyorra can play guitar.
My new favorite songs for drifting are: Radiohead - Idioteque or Fear Factory - Lynch Pin. ;)

im afraid to say that that was around the start of when hip hop started heading the wrong direction. before then hip hop couldnt make anybody a living let alone pay for bills. although now its still pretty much the same, only expect that theres more people who caught on and more people who disrespect the art and sold thier soul to make a dollar.

Too bad.. coz those were the real Hip hop.. not the commercialised stuff from today.. Nowadays all you get are studios MCs and diluted rappers... No wonder my rap collection took a dive about 5 years ago!

LL Cool J just raps about the same stupid **** that All the bling bling a$$holes are rappin about today: Women and money. I prefer more of a solid meaningfull story, to just random bull****, call me crazy. ;)

Agreed, thats why I say Public Enemy > All. IMHO, there isnt an MC that can come close to Chuck D in terms of presence. Bass in your face =)

what about NAS

Chuck D was preaching about the injustice in Arizona regarding MLK Jr a decade before NAS even thought of his "If I ruled the world".

I take back what I said earlier, there is one MC that comes close to Chuck D, and thats KRS-One.

I guess thats a matter of opinion - also depends what your flava is.. if you are into beats or lyricism.. and KRSOne be a wicked lyricist.. no doubt! :)

Hmmm, I was about to list who i like and listen to, but I'll have to think about who really impresses me.

It doesn't have to be just one :)

The ones that I like include - GhettoBoyz, Paris, NWA, Dr Dre, and a couple more... but for me.. the best by far would be NWA, and anyone who disagree should stick to commercial rap - go and buy your Will Smith CD!!!

hell i just put my winamp on random and let the beats flow.....**** it goes from a little bit o' britney, to some WSC, to some ching-a-ling, to some good ol iron maiden, followed up with a bit of basment jaxx, then some timo maas, then throw in the paul van dyk, switch back to some luda, then hit up the def leppard with a mix of motley crue.....finish it with sum missy:lol:

my mix is sick yo!
