Oh no I'm saying it.

S13 and S14 240SX, how do those drive? I like their lines so long as they haven't been molested yet

Usually pretty cheap, they are light and super easy to give subtle mods.
Light + RWD + Cheap + Slightly higher insurance=win :D

Go for it!

do they not have any small cars in america with cheap insurance and that can do more than 35mpg?

We've got them. But they are slow gutless small and more a hazard on our roads than anything else.

TBH, I think that you should just get a "normal" first car. The Mazda Protegé was really nice.

Oh so close to the Protege I'd be close to thinking about, which is that yellow, but the sedan.
Cheap?
You could probably buy an LS1 Camaro for what the price of a 240SX would be. I doubt insurance would be much (if any) less on a 240SX either.
Well then screw the 240. Totally not worth it then.

I'm gonna hazard a guess that a Supercharged V6 Buick Riviera is gonna run insurance cheaper than a Camaro/Mustang. Would that be right?

You're quite correct on both accounts. And everyone can thank ricers and or the fast and the furious scene.

You win, but at terrible cost.

But imagine all the DUB's and the oversized body kits and useless interior mods and 80,000 dollar paint and the loud exhaust and the total ricer look on a buick and the fact it'll become irrecognizeable!

*needs to find 84-87 Regal*

The Buick Riviera suffered from most of those things stock. If you are going to gi back that far, you may as well get a V8 Mustang or F-Body.

True. But wouldn't the insurance kill me because they are V8?

I'm not sure. If they were 4th gen models, the insurance would be murder. But 3rd gen you may get a break just because of age.

Oh my god seriously?!!!

Is there any way to go about getting a quick quote for a car easily?

Just got a quick mostly BS quote from Geico for ballpark. 1995 V6 Camaro with the bare minimun stuff, $273 a month

1990 Camaro RS with the same requirements, $281 a month.

There is a black Buick GNX for sale about a mile from my house. I drive by it every day, however, I've never stopped to see how much it is... Hes been trying to sell it for a while, so likely "too much."

Check out the price. GNX's are likely well kept, but thrashed...Oh the irony.

Exactly.
Or (though I wouldn't personally suggest it), this.

You just had to show it to me. Now I'm officially crazy, but I do believe I can't afford insurance. Unless...do you know what a ballpark for it may be?
Multiply that by around 5, if not 6.

They go for 16,000 sometimes.

Fiero power activate!!!

...I saw a nice one the other day and thought about how much "fun" it would be to have it...
