I've been looking at those! Only thing is I can't seem to find one around 4,000 with less than 110,xxx on the odometer...

Yeah. RWD, Turbo, 5-speed, etc. Probably more reliable than the RX-7 (tough I personally would rather have the RX-7, slower or not), and certainly more reliable than the 924.

Z31 sounds cool. I think I'll go try to get a quote on it. And while I'm at it, the RX-7.

Z31 would run me $199.98/month
RX-7 would run 199.88/month
 
I draw the line at the X1/9. The Fiero is awesome against all odds and for no explainable reason. The X1/9 is not very awesome at all.

Odd critters are my thing, and there is an X1/9 for sale near my house as well. Its been on my mind for weeks now. Too bad they're prone to covering the driver in flames...

They fall apart like melba toast, but they're still some of the best handling cars when they're actually running.
 
Grab the 300ZX. Its just an awsome car. And, +1 on Toronado's comment on the Fiero.
 
You know, I'm really going to sound biased towards American/Australian cars by saying this, and I'm already handing you guys the whip to torture me with, but from what I understand there's a good reason it's called the 300ZX outside of Japan. Because Americans would have instantly labelled the car gay being called a Fairlady, and apparently it even featured in gay magazines. I'm not insulting homosexuals, it's their lifestyle choice. It's also a lifestyle choice for tree-huggers who would probably buy a Prius. Just something to keep in mind. If I was going Japanese I'd get a Supra primarily.
 
It's good enough for me, not my lifestyle choice. But it won't matter much, because only a handful of people will know that anyway, and will likely assume that you didn't when you purchased it making everything A O.K.
Buy a Pope-mobile though..... :rolleyes: :sly:
 
Get a quote on the 300ZX, because saying "My first car was a 300ZX" is way cooler than "My first car was a Mustang".

Hahaha...what? And here I was thinking, you know, 3 litre engine. Continuation of the ZX model range, aka 280 ZX. Silly me.

Oh yeah, avoid 200/240 SX's as well. Seriously. No straight guy wants a car that was called a Sylvia on the other side of the planet. Apparently.

Edit: You wouldn't buy a 300ZX because they may or may not have featured in gay magazines? Wow.
