i get new keybord and this works. My X1 drives all of night. But after 6 hours x1 can't be 1 because i have to do oil change. So this is a little bad because i grind only 7kk $$

Even without an oil change the x1 still owns this track while autogrinding.

Then, I taped down the Enter key on my USB keyboard

Interesting... I've done this myself and posted earlier in this thread about it... but the ENTER key doesn't work for me (or any other UK user I've spoken to about it).

In the UK you'll need to press the RETURN key.

Hope that helps some of the people who are saying that the keyboard part doesn't work for them.

You're pushing the car into the wall too hard... just rest something against the stick so that it's getting a very mild push to the right.

The car should be running at 260-270 mph on the straights but NOT veering off to the left.

My X1 still wins easily after 35.000 kms without service (1334hp).

You must be doing something very wrong :dunce:

My x1 prototype is down to 1322hp and still wins easily, it is at 35,273.7 miles and still going.

Oil change does not matter much for this race since the other cars suck compared to the X1.

Just make sure you are getting consistent lap times of at least 47 seconds and you will win every time.

I generally have my laps set for 45 seconds - 46 seconds. I have had it at 43 -44 seconds but the car would end up crashing after a few races.

The slower your laps are the safer it is and the less likely you will crash.

260-270 mph?!?! Are you sure? What are your lap times running at that speed? I've heard most people speak of 42 to 46 sec lap times. You must be running in the high 30's. NO?

Can this be done with an FGT? I haven't got an X1 yet...

Yes, but you will usually only finish around 5th place since the car is not very fast when hitting the sides. You can do it to make money but you will not make as much as you would with the X2010.

Also guys if you grind DREAM CAR/Indy race it is 10 laps but you will win every single time. Stop grinding "like the wind", yes you can make a little more money but you will win every race in "dream car" very easily even if your x2010 only goes 240 that is enough to win by 10 seconds. You get 108K 9800xp and I can easily earn 15mil while I am here at work. Another added bonus....if you let it run a while 6-7hours etc when you go back to home screen you will get a 1000 Ticket. I get one everyday so its easy 15-20mil and a free car while I work :)

If you have a logitech bluetooth keyboard it will auto shutoff after a couple races, buttons taped down or not, you have to walk by and hit the space bar to wake it up lol. Any standard usb cabled keyboard will work. I had to go into system settings and turn repeat to SLOW and pause time to LONG also to be sure it works nice.

There is an auto grind A spec thread and someone has been using the official keypad.

As long as you keep it plugged in so the battery doesn't die, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

when I do this trick the X1 can hit 260 mph on the straights, the speed around the corners is about 180-200 mph, and my lap times vary between 42 - 44 seconds

Mine's been running for 4 days straight like this. Trying to get up to level 40 to purchase a spare X2010 (as well as the 20 million credit cars in the dealership). Works great. The keyboard was the best $10 I spent since starting GT5!
