my cobra gets to around 380 km/h and it doesn't go any further

my cobra gets to around 380 km/h and it doesn't go any further i baught a full racing tranmission and stuck the gear ratio up to autosetting 39 and it just doesn't go any further than 380 km/h please tell me why?
