Well, some of the members here know that not to long ago I purchesed a 91 Corrado G60 as my daily driver. Ive been doing a little work here and there to It, but I finnaly got around to taking a few pictures of it.
so far mods include:
- KompressorKanada "stage 4" supercharger.
- K&N air filter
- Iridium spark plugs
- Genie exhaust system
- 16"x7.5" PCW rims
- Falken Tires

Anyways, here are some pictures, enjoy. :)

Good stuff....glad to see the grenade of a stock SC has been changed. I dont see too many white ones. Ever since I saw/heard my first lysholm G60....I wanted to throw that engine into a MK2.

Nice clean ride! (supercharged too 👍)

They came stock with a supercharger...it was that or a VR6 (at least in the US)
The stock SC were notorious for taking a dump.

For a '91 it looks amazing. Unfortuantly I don't see many around here, especially any that are as clean as yours. Very nice choice of rims by the way, that style always looks good on German cars for some reason. 👍

Whats the estimated hp gain off the KompressorKanada supercharger?

Ahh I see, thanks for clearing that up :)

I've only seen 1 in person and it was totalled and in a junkyard. :guilty:

Kick ass Vee Dub! You don't see enough Corrados, much less Sciroccos these days... Too bad, because these cars are still just so freaking awesome to this day. In my current situation, the Corrado is one of the only cars I would ever go older for, esp. the SLC models (no offense to G60 fans!).

Keep her clean and keep her running and you will be driving a piece of automotive history.

Nice lookin car! Still looks to be in great shape.

I've always had a fondness for the Corrado, as myself, being a former Scirocco owner.
Wasn't the Corrado kind of the successor to the Scirocco?

This has got me thinking, you know what other "older" car I'd love to have? The Subaru SVX--that was a great car with an awsome look. You know how hard it is to find a non-ragged out SVX or Corrado?

THANKS!
Yeah, I think it was. I actually owned a Scirocco 16v, it was a ton of fun to drive! very nimble in the corners and pretty quick too!

Thanks alot!
Not sure of the exact HP gain....but they dynoed it at the shop with just the supercharger and exhaust, and It was about 170+ hp at the weels...anyone have an idea how much that is at the crank???

Haha, thanks man. I actually chose to go with a G60 over the SLC, with the money I saved buying this one, I spent it on the car and probably made it just as fast, if not faster. Plus its less front heavy and has stiffer front springs...so its better through the corners.

Indeed it was - Golf I (Scirocco) -> Golf II (Corrado)..

Sweet looking ride - Don't think I've ever seen one i white before !..

The Corrado's a great car, that G60 engine was hugely underated. Looks like you've got yourself a nice tidy example 👍

Manual  I have owned enough cars that are auto to know that I dont like em.
A Corrado G60 with Auto would be a crime against humanity...

Btw.. What kinda HP increase did the "Stage 4" kit add ?....

Like I said, It dynoed at over 170, so I dont know what that is at the crank.

I'd say, as far as looks go, it could benefit from a couple cm drop in height. The wells look a bit empty.

I don't know how the chassis would take it though, through the twisties (which is the most important).

190-200 hp at the crank if you factor in a conservative 10-15% driveline loss.

Ahhh, thanks a bunch :) 👍

Yeah, I plan to get some stiffer springs and better shocks, A little drop would be good, I still have to drive it in the winter though.

Nice car, Chris. 👍

Btw, can I let out that your "other" car is an M5? :p
