Not yet. I'm 16 and in Germany you can get a license with 18. But I think I will drive it next time. We had the older model before and I drove it. I have to train my shifting so when we are at a racetrack I can drive in the area where normally the team trucks stand (don't know the word, in German it's Fahrerlager).

Is paddock the word you're looking for?

Congrats on the car though!

A yellow GT3 RS? That's a first. I thought they only came in white. The yellow/red contrast doesn't look quite as good, but you know what, I'd still killf for one. ;)

Paddock is what I was looking for :)

@ PunkRock: It's not an RS it just has the stripes. And I think that my father is gonna change the wing into the RS wing.

The GT2 is a good car (500 HP and turbo) but I know a lot of people who had a GT2 for driving on track. But in slow corners the turbo doesn't have the right power so the non-turbos are faster. On track, the GT3s are nearly always faster than the GT2s.

That's crazy man. Too bad we can't get any of those down here in BC. If you dont mind me asking, whats the price tag on one of those?

Not true, its mostly the other way around. At Nurburing the GT2 ran a couple of second faster than the GT3.

I want a 911 Turbo... nothing is better than 4WD! ;)

Yeah but that's still really impressive considering the 120 horsepower difference. I'd like the GT3 if I had a choice between the three, no wait now that I think of it I'd like the GT2 because of exclusivity. Wait is that word?

Yeah, there is a big power difference. If 375hp running 7.56 impresses you. What about the NSX-R? Ran the exact same as the GT3 with 280hp. :D

Just some useless info. GT3, 2004 Z06, and 2002 NSX-R all ran 7'56.xxx. NSX-R is the lightest of the bunch and also the weakest of the bunch considering that the GT3 had 375hp which is nearly 100hp more and the Z06 with 405hp which is 125hp more.

Yeah, out of the three... GT3, GT2, and 911 Turbo. I would take the 911 Turbo please, i just cant take the FR over 4WD... damn. They all run about the same in the 1/4. All in the high 11s low 12s.

We have already been at Nürburgring (+ Nordschleife), Hockenheim, Oschersleben, Spa Francochamps, EuroSpeedway Lausitzring, Sachsenring (only my father, I was at school), Monza (at school too), Zolder, Dijon (only my father). I think thats all. But with other cars (we had the older GT3 before and before that a silver 996 4S and a white 993 4S and a 996 C2. My father is a car dealer so he changes the cars very quick, but not the new GT3). We are at Spa on April 3rd.
