What is he doing with an X-Type then?
That's what I wondered. Like I said he didn't feel right when he drove the S-Type, so it was an X-Type instead becuase he felt better driving it.

Anyway, lots of cars are smoother and quiter than the Mazda 6 we used to have because of it's sporty and nosiy suspension. Plus, the engine is a lot quieter in the Jag too. :)

Me and my Dad are baffled by what causes this, but we just don't know.

In the X-Type, everytime my Dad presses the brake pedal and then takes his foot off it, it clicks a bit like a switch. It does it all the time when we're in traffic because he's constantly braking. Then, it stopped for a while, then came back. What on earth is it?

I just found out that the clicking noise it getting looked at next Tuesday.

Hopefully the dealer will fix it. :)

Front brake caliper a bit sticky I would guess. Happens on some new cars with disc brakes...( test drove a brand new Mazda three and that was happening - both ford owned products...coincidence ?? I think not !! )

The calipers were sticky at first, but that went away quickly. This sounds much different.

Hey guys, you'll never guess what's just happened. The engine/transmission fault light has just turned on. :grumpy:

oh crap! Does it come on and off? We had a problem like that with our freelander. It turned out to be the computer though.

Nope, it stays on. We tried to see if it went away when we re-started the engine, but it was still there.

Well, I'm not surprised you get problems with your Freelander. :)

Right we just had that problem looked at, and it was a fuel temperature sensor malfunction. They also said that this is very unusual and have never seen this problem before. They just reset the computer and the problem went away.

I hate the fake wood in your dads car. I don't get that fake wood its strange.

Guys, that warning light has turned on again. This time I hope they sort out the problem and not reset the computer again.

It seems alright to me.

Very, very few cars use real wood. But i know what you mean, i just don't get the 'wood-in-cars' thing at all.
