hmm, for some reason it keeps messing up for me. the video starts with the music playing and I get just past where it says "Tribute to Intial D" and it video freezes, but the audio still plays in the backround. is there a codec I should download to fix this problem? it's happened with a few other AVI's I've downloaded as well
 
doubtful, It hasn't been lagging when I play anything else, seems to be just AVI's, and not all of them either. I'll try to see if I can find some new DIVX codecs, thx.:)
 
i tried to make each car represent its driver...an example would be Iketani in his S13. i didn't want it to look like takumi was driving so i didn't drift much :lol: and for the white comet of akagi...i put that fender as close to the barrier as i could. i wanted to do better for the AE86...but i just wanted to make the vid to see how it would turn out. vehicles that wreck in the anime also wreck in my video :p
 
I just downloaded a new divx codec and it works great now, thx. The video was really good, just needs to be longer hehe. One thing I was wondering though...where'd that sil-80 come from? the signs in that part said Gran Turismo, but I don't remember a sil-80 from gt1 or gt2..maybe I'm wrong though.
 
i loved that money shot on the R32 lol, right after he spun the cam was pointed at those circle tail lights and his GTR emblem, just like in the series :p

uhm good theme i liked it.:D but the mess up like the R32 and Civic wasnt so great, but i get waht your trying to do. just like the anime. but try using sim:D :p get's way more smoke, but it's your preference. if you like it how is is then stay with that. this is just some suggestions. it was a cool vid how you got the original music and not the english verison.:) waht i dont understand was the SIZE? and it was only 4 minutes for that size:confused: . well atleast you have a captures card. keep it up because it was pretty good:D :D
 
i do you use sims :P even when i was gripping in the R32 i had sims equipped hehe. i just redid the video. its now 4:21 long, different song, and only 36mb ;) im uploading as i type this...so just wait! im leavin in the crash scenes. ive set them up a bit differently, plus the music synchs better. you'll see :p
 
were those cars ALL with sims. because the S13, RX-7 loked like they wernt sim:confused: . your just turned way too fast for sim tires. and the ae86. i use normal tires. when overpowering the tires the normla tires act like SIM on the trueno:D
 
that's just my driving style..the only car that didnt have sims was the EG6. and it had sims on the rear, normal on the front. most of my cars have very low horsepower..almost stock...the RX-7 had 352, S13 has 220(i would have drifted more but iketani sux at drifting!), and the AE86 has 180hp. all equipped with sims ;)
 
hey me and akina t\got that idea, we're making one too, but its gonna take awhile, i think you got a good idea, this time we're making like yours too but using super soft, because we're not good in sim tires, so good luck on ur video, i cant download it but i think its pretty good video from what i read!!!!!!!!!
 
my next modifications will be a closing scene..fix the title screen...better civic crash footage...and maybe a few little differences :P lemme know if the music quality is TOO low..
 
night_drifter. you should learn SIM! just give it 1 hour of practice and you should be able to atleast control a drift:D :D

👍 nice one. l like it, but for the ending is it supposed to end at the MR2 like that? and sorry, but those dont look like sim??:confused:
 
im not done making the vid yet. bustwave, i dunno why you think those aren't sim lol! how would i drift at such low speeds if i didnt have sims? i realized i forgot the FD3S in that version..i fixed it so nobody panic :p
 
should be done before the weekend. im gonna redo Iketani...make his drifts more shakey and use the e-brake since he's not as skilled as the others :O i changed the music...the new length is 5:12. i added end credits...but i can't figure out the smudges on the title card. i gotta work on that. all of the cars (except the FD3S) were shown in that version 2.

btw all drifts are being performed on a d-pad on a ps1 controller :lol:
 
On Iketani, you should make it where after he does the drift and is about to pull out make the car sway rough and then gently because episodes 1-4 when u watch him drift, when he exits, he always is shakey and sways.

im not getting as much feedback as i hoped. :rolleyes: 166 views and its basically less than 6 different people giving me ideas. where are all those initial d fans?!!:trouble:

edit: if i like your ideas you'll be mentioned in the credits :p
 
try getting one of your friends to drive the black skyline. that way, you can just tell ure friend to do a simple spin out and you, will be driving a white FC, and try to get around it.sounds fun, i did it once with my cousin and the replay was extremly sexy ;)
